How Do You Claim Royal Ascot Festival Free Bets & Betting Offers?

Claiming Royal Ascot free bets is simple and easy to do, especially as we have five days worth of action to enjoy across the whole meeting.

The first step is to choose which offer you would like to take advantage of, from those we have listed above.

After this, click on the offer which should take you to the bookmaker’s landing page for that deal, and sign up to a new account.

Check out the terms and conditions to make sure you adhere to those, and when you have completed the sign up process, it’s time to place your bets.

After these have been settled, you should receive the free bets from your bookmaker, giving you those to spend on the rest of the royal meeting.

How to Use Your Royal Ascot Free Bet?

Five days of racing, seven races each day, you’ve got plenty of racing at Royal Ascot to spend your free bets on.

With a feature race every day of the meeting, those with free bets may choose to spread them out, and use the free bets on the feature race of the day for the next few days.

Alternatively, you could use the free bets all together in one day, so you can bet through the card at Royal Ascot, but spend using free bets.

Lastly, don’t forget about the action elsewhere. We are now in the summer, which means regular evening racing, so when the action is done at Royal Ascot, there’s other meetings for you to look at, if you have free bets and want to spend them that day.

Existing Customer Royal Ascot Bet Offers

The size of Royal Ascot means that bookmakers want to get everyone involved, and that includes their existing customers.

With such a competitive market, bookmakers not only want to attract new players, but also want to keep their current customers.

Look out for offers such as free bets for existing customers, money back offers, enhanced prices, enhanced place terms and much more, all of which should be available to both new and existing customers during Royal Ascot week.

Lastly, don’t forget about the best odds guaranteed promotion either. Potentially the most rewarding existing customer offer that horse racing fans can take advantage of, placing your bets when this is accessible, is a must for Royal Ascot.

Types of Royal Ascot Free Bets & Offers

With an ever expanding list of different free bets and offers available for punters, here is a look at some of the most commonly used.

Free Bets

The most common, without a doubt, is to receive a free bet from your bookmaker. This is a wager you can put on a race at Royal Ascot, giving you a free bet to try and land a winner.

Free bets may have terms and conditions attached on how they are used, in particular with expiry dates, so make sure you take a look at them to understand.

Enhanced Offers

Enhancements are another popular offer type, and this is when you receive bigger odds from your bookmaker, or in some cases, bigger place terms on your each way bet.

These are certainly worth looking out for, potentially giving you something that is simply not available with others, giving you potentially additional winnings, if you have a winner while using an enhancement.

Money Back Offers

This type of offer can be great, but does depend on the stipulations in place for it. For example if it’s money back if you’re second in a big field, that’s not as attractive as money back is 2nd, 3rd or 4th in an eight runner race.

With the right money back offers, you can receive stakes back and have another attempt in a later race, without paying for your bet again.

Acca Bonuses

Acca’s are popular bets, more so with other sports, but still with horse racing and for big bets like these, you will always have the opportunity to add a bonus to your winnings.

For some, it’s a horse racing acca bonus, while other brands have all-sport acca bonuses, if you’re placing these, find an operator giving you a bonus on winnings.

Non Runner No Bet

A hugely popular offer for those betting before the event. If you’re placing any antepost bets on Royal Ascot, always look out for non runner no bet offers from different bookmakers.

These offers could give you money back if you don’t get a run, rather than simply losing the stake if betting without.

Choose the Right Bookmaker for Royal Ascot

On such a big week of racing, it’s important to make sure you find the right bookmaker for Royal Ascot.

This is partly down to what they have to offer, but also dependent on the type of punter you are.

For example, if you never bet each way, a bookmaker with lots of each way betting offers won’t be as good for you as it would for someone who bets each way most of the time.

Look for offer frequency, the size of them, how relative they are to your type of betting, and work out which brand you want to be with.

Best Royal Ascot Betting Sites

With many brands accepting horse racing bets on their platform, punters have plenty to choose from ahead of Royal Ascot, and during the meetings. Here’s a look at some of the best on offer.

BetVictor

One of the reasons BetVictor stand out is because they have a horse racing specific welcome offer for new players. Bet £10 on horse racing and receive £30 in horse racing free bets, plus a £10 casino bonus.

With excellent horse racing coverage, enhanced place terms for selected races and much more, they are a great, traditional brand for horse racing.

William Hill

Another big traditional brand is William Hill, who have been associated with horse racing for decades now. They’ve put together a welcome bonus that gives mobile players £40 in free bets, so certainly look to sign up on mobile where possible.

With regular odds boost opportunities, and the ability to make your own place terms, as well as best odds guaranteed on selected bets and markets, there’s plenty for racing punters here.

Betfair

Another big name in horse racing, Betfair have put together a welcome package that can give new players £30 in free bets when they sign up.

Money back offers, best odds guaranteed, competitive odds and special markets are just some of the reasons that make this bookmaker stand out from the crowd for horse racing fans.

Which Are the Biggest Races at Royal Ascot 2023?

Depending who you ask, you will probably get different answers around the biggest race of the Royal Ascot meeting, but what most people will agree on is that the meeting focuses heavily on the Group 1 events that take place.

We have three of these on the opening day, the Queen Anne Stakes to kick things off, followed by the King’s Stand Stakes and then the St James’ Palace Stakes.

On Wednesday, just one Group 1 race takes place, and that is the Prince Of Wales’ Stakes, the feature of the day.

Thursday sees the Ascot Gold Cup stand as the feature event of the day, and again the only Group 1 on the card.

We are back to multiple Group 1 events on Friday, with the Coronation Stakes and Commonwealth Cup taking centre stage.

On the final day, Saturday, we have just one top level contest, with the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes headlining the day.

Royal Ascot Betting Markets, Ante Post & Special Bets

It is very unlikely any Royal Ascot race will feature less than eight runners so each-way punters will be happy in the knowledge their bets will be ‘first three’ and in some cases ‘first four’ betting terms.

As the festival approaches Royal Ascot odds will become available on ‘Top Royal Ascot Trainer’, which has been won by Aidan O’Brien eight times before, ‘Top Royal Ascot Jockey’ and even ‘Top Royal Ascot Owner’.

For now you will have to make do with Royal Ascot betting odds 2020 with ante-post markets. As we know ante-post betting comes with a caveat that your stakes will be lost should your selection not run in the race you stipulated.

On the upside, if your horse does run, you are pretty sure to receive a price far better than that which will be listed in the Royal Ascot results.

Royal Ascot Results 2022

Baaeed kicked off Royal Ascot 2022 in style, with a comfortable, if a little more workmanlike than expected, win in the Queen Anne Stakes.

Later the same day, Aussie sprinter Nature Strip grabbed the headlines, with a dominating win in the King Stand Stakes.

On day two, the headlines were written by State Of Rest, who got the better of Bay Bridge in the Prince Of Wales’ Stakes.

Thursday was all about the Gold Cup, and in a thrilling finish, Kyprios for Aidan O’Brien, got the better of Mojo Star and Stradivarius, ending hopes of another fairytale Gold Cup for the Gosden runner.

Earlier on that day, The Ridler caused a 50/1 shock in the Norfolk, for the Northern team of Paul Hanagan and Richard Fahey.

Inspiral took Friday’s Coronation Stakes, winning the feature on that day by more than four lengths with Frankie Dettori in the saddle.

It was Perfect Power who took the Commonwealth Cup, with the drop back to sprinting really helping this horse come home strongly.

On the final day of the meeting, Naval Crown caused a shock in the Diamond Jubilee, while Broome was not for catching in the Hardwicke Stakes, taking that prize back home to Ireland.
