2025 World Grand Prix Tips - Final
We’re down to the final two in Leicester and it’s a familiar tale.
The Luke Humphries vs. Luke Littler rivalry is becoming synonymous with this new generation of darting talent, and quite often it’s a coin toss as to who is most likely to come out on top.
But that doesn’t appear to be the case on Sunday night at the Grand Prix final.
After wowing the crowd in a comeback victory over Gerwyn Price and decimating Johnny Clayton in the semi-finals, Luke Littler is priced as a 1/2 favourite with bet365 to land the maiden Grand Prix title of his career, and underline his 2025 dominance on the PDC tour.
Can Humphries, the 2023 champion here, do anything about it?
Let’s take a look at some of the best darts tips for the final in Leicester.
Tip 1: Over 9.5 sets
Luke Littler may appear to be marching towards the title here, but in Humphries he has an opponent that won’t let him off the hook.
Such is the nature of the double in, double out format that legs and sets can easily flip in the blink of an eye, and it’s just so happened that Littler’s previous victims haven’t been able to take advantage of slow starts.
Humphries has averaged consistently in the low to mid-90s throughout this week in Leicester and in a race to six sets will certainly get enough chances to make this final interesting.
Littler leads 12-10 in their career head-to-heads, but without ever meeting in this format there are a lot of unknowns as we approach yet another clash.
Littler may have only dropped three sets this week, but funny things happen in finals with shifts in momentum guaranteed.
Over 9.5 sets will see a 6-5 or 6-4 either way, priced well at 6/5.
Tip 2: Luke Littler to win and hit a 180 in every set
Once again, the format lends itself to a bit more nuance in the 180 betting, but this Price Boost from bet365 stands out as a cracking option.
Littler does tend to follow into the T19s after starting on D16, but hitting 10 180s against Johnny Clayton in just six sets underlines his ability to still be successful in the maximum market.
We believe the youngster will get over the line on Sunday night, and if he does, he’ll probably need his scoring boots on.
In theory, a 180 could drop once in every five legs for Littler in a winning effort, and this 12/1 can come in.
