Premier League Darts Tips: Dublin Predictions & Odds Night 7

It was all about Jonny Clayton on night 6 of this season’s Premier League.
The Welshman overcame gout to crush Luke Humphries in the Nottingham final 6-1, giving him a huge eight-point lead at the top of the standings as we head to Dublin this Thursday.
Sitting behind the “Ferret” is Luke Littler, Gerwyn Price, Gian van Veen and Luke Humphries bunched within two points, with Josh Rock still the man rock bottom of the table yet to pick up a point across six losses.
St. Patrick’s Day week welcomes the arrows to the 3Arena with a lot of sore heads ready to sample the best that the darting world has to offer.
Below, Free Bets has all you need for the seventh night of action.
Darts Premier League Tips: Night 7
Let’s take a look at some of the best betting tips for Thursday night’s action:
Gian van Veen to beat Michael van Gerwen
After a bright start to his debut season, Gian van Veen has lost back-to-back quarter-finals over the last two weeks, seeing him slide down into fourth spot.
There are still plenty of positives for the Dutchman heading to Dublin, and Michael van Gerwen looks primed for plucking in front of the Irish faithful.
MVG hasn’t won a Premier League game since night 2 in Antwerp and will surely struggle with the consistent scoring of the younger man.
Van Veen is a World Championship winner in waiting and he should emphasise that point by sweeping aside the faltering “Green Machine”.
Gerwyn Price most 180s and match win vs Josh Rock
Unfortunately for “Rocky”, we don’t think he is about to stop the rot in Dublin this week.
Despite his nine-darter in Belfast, Rock has lost all six matches so far in his debut season by an aggregate score of 36-13, and facing Gerwyn Price will be another uphill struggle on Thursday.
Price is third in the standings having won night 2 and making two other semi-finals, but there are certainly some chinks in the “Iceman” armour.
Rock probably won’t be the man to capitalise on these shortcomings, as Price wins the game alongside the 180 race with a barrage of maximums.
Jonny Clayton vs Luke Humphries - Over 10.5 legs
In a repeat of last week’s final, we’re expecting Luke Humphries to put up a bit more of a fight than the 6-1 he was served up last week.
Clayton withdrew from last week’s Euro Tour event, so fitness issues with his ongoing gout struggles may open the door for Humphries to reassert his dominance.
We’re not willing to pick a winner here, but a 6-5 either way looks very well priced for two stubborn throwers that won’t hand away their throws easily.
