2:30pm – Queen Anne Stakes
The Queen Anne Stakes is named after Queen Anne, who founded Royal Ascot after riding from Windsor and deciding the land was perfect for a racecourse. That tradition lives on, with the Queen Anne Stakes always opening the Royal meeting.
This year's Queen Anne features a rematch of the 1-2-3-4 from the Lockinge Stakes at Newbury.
ROSALLION, now favourite, leads the market after a strong campaign and will be partnered by Sean Levey for Richard Hannon.
Dancing Gemini, Notable Speech, and Lead Artist also bring Group form into the mix, making it a competitive opener.
For punters looking at each-way value, outsider QUDDWAH (Each-Way) is worth a second glance - Simon & Ed Crisford's runner has won five of his seven career starts and could run a big race despite the class rise.
3:05pm – Coventry Stakes
The Coventry Stakes is a renowned two-year-old sprint filled with raw talent, and this year's edition features 21 runners.
POSTMODERN looked electric when scoring by five lengths at Yarmouth and could take this step up in class in stride.
He's likely to face stiff opposition from Aidan O'Brien's Gstaad, who won at Navan and is part of the trainer's push for his 100th Royal Ascot winner.
For those after a big-priced punt, KOLKATA KNIGHT (Each-Way) bolted up by five lengths at Hamilton on debut, and the runner-up has since franked the form.
3:40pm – King Charles III Stakes
This year's King Charles III Stakes is a unique spectacle with 23 runners - huge for a Group 1 sprint.
Believing is the standout - he was 4th in this race last year and beat several rivals, including Regional, at Meydan last time out, and now receives a 9lb swing.
With Ryan Moore taking the ride and George Boughey aiming for a Royal Ascot breakthrough, Believing looks strong.
That said, REGIONAL (Each-Way) has shown high-class form and could reverse the form with Believing dropping back in trip - he's a solid contender at around 7/1.
4:20pm – St James's Palace Stakes
This is a true clash of champions, featuring three Guineas winners from England, Ireland, and France.
Ruling Court took the Newmarket 2000 Guineas, while Field Of Gold, second that day, went on to win the Irish equivalent.
The Aidan O'Brien-trained HENRI MATISSE, the Breeders' Cup Juvenile winner, took the French 2000 Guineas and is now available at an appealing 7/2.
With class and international form on his side, Henri Matisse looks like the value pick in a small but elite field of seven.
5:00pm – Ascot Stakes
A staying handicap run over 2m4f, the Ascot Stakes often attracts National Hunt trainers, and Willie Mullins saddles major hope Reaching High, owned by His Majesty The King.
A royal winner would bring the house down, and the gelding has strong Irish form to support his case.
However, punters should consider LIARI (Each-Way), who made a good impression on reappearance for trainer Michael Bell and who has apparently been working well at home.
5:35pm – Wolferton Stakes
A Listed contest over 1m2f, the Wolferton features some seasoned performers and improving types.
I think that Sheikha Hissa, the daughter of the late Sheikh Hamdan, can win this with ENFJAAR.
Trained by Roger Varian, he brings solid form, including a respectable fifth in the Brigadier Gerard - with Jim Crowley aboard, he looks ready to strike.
Those after a bigger price could turn to Doha, winner of last year's Kensington Palace and a proven Ascot performer for Ralph Beckett - an ideal each-way saver.
6:10pm – Copper Horse Stakes
The day ends with a 1m6f staying handicap, where stamina will be key, and French Master heads the market after an impressive Goodwood win and looks the class act.
However, FAIRBANKS (Each-Way) appeals at a big price - he recently won over hurdles in Ireland, stays well, and brings a gritty edge to this flat test.
In a race likely to favour strong stayers, he could outrun his odds.
