Charlie McCann's Horse Racing Tips Monday, 12 October - Worcester
Charlie heads to Worcester on Monday for his best bet

It's a busy day of racing action in the UK and Ireland, and Charlie McCann is here with his exclusive free horse racing tips - only at FreeBets.
An all-chase card at Worcester today – races transferred from Chepstow and Ludlow's abandoned card on Thursday - to be run on good ground, although there is the prospect of further showers race day morning and during racing.
Grade 1 winning hurdler Potters Charm is the star on show and connections have always felt he would make a top-class chaser although this near 3m trip will stretch his stamina reserves when stepped up in grade.
1:37pm Worcester - Rockvale
Onehundredneighty faced an impossible task at Fontwell over hurdles on his penultimate start when trying to give weight to the Skelton-trained four-year-old Delgany Second Now, and he duly went one better on chase debut when scoring by 5l here over the minimum trip.
He has been raised 10lbs for that success, which would have been much easier had it not been for a shuddering mistake four out when the horse got jockey Ben Jones out of a hole. The additional half mile will suit, but the Pauling yard are not exactly firing on all cylinders, and there is a possibility that conditions will be a bit too soft for the six-year-old.
Noble Recall jumped right at Southwell at the beginning of the month, often putting off ROCKVALE was in the second rank and, in the circumstances, I thought the selection – who was running in first-time cheekpieces - ran a terrific race to come home 6l clear over this 2m4f trip.
The handicapper has not missed the Sam Allwood-trained six-year-old either, given he is 8lbs higher in the weights, but he is likely to be overlooked by those in the market behind the Pauling runner, who is likely to be a very warm favourite.
Recommendation: Rockvale - 6/1 with bet365
2:07pm Worcester - Sonyourastar (Nap)
SONYOURASTAR (Nap) improved for the step up to 3m for the first time when beaten a nose over hurdles here from a 3lbs lower mark and is taken to make a winning chase debut.
The grey failed to win in six starts between the flags in his native Ireland, so is no star, but he is only rated 102 and has improved for the application of a tongue-tie once sent handicapping in June. Olly Murphy will be frustrated that he has not been able to get a win out of the six-year-old thus far, but he looks the type to improve now sent chasing given his previous experience between the flags.
Moonlightinthepark jumped out to his right at Kelso last time, and I'm not convinced about his stamina for three miles – especially if the ground is tacky and holding – but he is one to keep onside when the Greenall/Guerriero stable hit top gear.
Recommendation: Sonyourastar (Nap) - 11/4 with bet365
This is Charlie's Nap of the Day selection - see how it stacks up against Alan Kelly's pick too.
4:07pm Worcester - Kykorock
KYKOROCK was last seen winning the valuable 3m novice handicap chase at Uttoxeter on Midlands National Day, and he is taken to make a winning reappearance although I appreciate he is taking a significant drop back down in trip to this extended 2m.
The selection made significant mistakes when a 6l third in a better race than this over 2m at Haydock, and he is only 4lbs higher this afternoon. The hope is that Siam Park and/or Park Annonciade make this a proper test of stamina, and you can pick holes in the prospects of all six runners.
Autoceltic is a horse I have a lot of time for, but the Jane Williams horses have generally needed their reappearance, although this is being written before Sunday's Chepstow card.
Recommendation: Kykorock - 6/4 with bet365

Horse racing has long been Charlie's passion - ironic, really, as he'll never pass the vet again, as sports injuries have come back to bite - with a specialism in handicap chases over jumps and 1m+ handicaps on the level.
