Chicago Bears vs LA Rams Tips, Bet Builder, NFL Playoff Predictions & Odds

We have got another cracker of a matchup to look forward to as part of the Divisional round. The LA Rams must travel across the country to take on the Chicago Bears for the right to get into the NFC Championship game.
The Rams struggled to finish off a Carolina Panthers side who themselves only just got into the playoffs. The Bears however, had a great win at home against the Green Bay Packers, coming from behind to claim the win.
Bears vs Rams Tips
Here we have got a 7/1 Bet Builder for the big matchup, plus the latest odds from a variety of betting sites on this game.
Over 44.5 total points (Alternate total points market)
Although most playoff games tend to be tight scrappy affairs itโs hard to see this game ending up like that. The over under total points line is set at 50.5 and both defences are not ranked in the top ten this season.
The Rams gave up 31 points last week against a solid but unspectacular offence in the Carolina Panthers. They are ranked 14th in the league for opponentsโ yards per play and their secondary is their weakest point.
The Bears gave up 27 points to the Green Bay Packers last week and that should have been more with the Packers kicker missing seven points. They are ranked 29th in the league for opponentsโ yards per play and the Rams have plenty of options to exploit them. Over 44.5 points should come in easily.
Colston Loveland 4+ receptions and to score a touchdown anytime (Alternate receptions market)
Colston Loveland is clearly Caleb Williams new favourite target at the Bears. The tight end had a slow start to his season but is now seeing loads of targets. Over the regular season he got 713 yards along with six touchdowns.
In the last two games of the regular season Loveland had 23 targets and 16 receptions. He also scored two touchdowns in them games. Last week against the Packers he had 15 targets and eight receptions.
It is unlikely that Loveland will suddenly regress, and Williams clearly trusts him as a pass catcher. Expect him to get involved again in this game and take advantage of the Rams only being a solid defence.
Davante Adams 4+ receptions and to score a touchdown anytime (Alternate receptions market)
Although Adams didnโt have an amazing game against the Carolina Panthers last week he shouldnโt be ignored here. The veteran wide receiver has had a great season and will be heavily involved again.
Over the season Adams has had four or more receptions in 12 of the 14 games that he played in. He has also scored 14 touchdowns over them 12 games and is always a reliable redzone target.
Even though he missed the final four weeks of the regular season with a hamstring injury he still looked decent. He was targeted 13 times and had five receptions against the Panthers. He didnโt get a touchdown in that game but he rarely stays quiet for long and he will get plenty of opportunities in this game.
