Tips - Horse Racing
Charlie McCann's tips and Alan Kelly's tips see them head to Down Royal and Wetherby on Friday for their Nap of the Day selections.
The Listed Mares' Hurdle at Down Royal looks a cracking contest, and Charlie sides with Carrigmoornaspruce, who was a commanding winner on her hurdles debut at Listowel and now has Sean O'Keefe taking the ride. A Grade 3 bumper winner at Punchestown in the spring, she should take plenty of beating if reproducing that form.
Alan is confident Thistle Ask can follow up his Kelso win in the Premier Handicap Chase, with a quick turnaround unlikely to pose any issues for the in-form eight-year-old. Racing under a 6lb penalty but effectively 3lb lower thanks to Tristan Durrell's claim, he looks well treated to strike again before the handicapper can reassess him.
Tips - Greyhound Racing
Our greyhound tips, provided by Craig Jones, feature four selections for Friday - two at Kinsley, and two at Sheffield
Craig's first fancy for Friday comes in the 4:03pm at Kinsley, where he likes Thats So True โ a front-runner who's been caught late on both starts at the track but now drops in grade and looks primed to make all for a well-deserved first Kinsley victory.
He's also keen on Markstreet Barry in the 4:23pm, another likely leader who impressed when scoring in a fast time last week. Up in grade but drawn perfectly between slow starters, he looks capable of repeating the feat with a clean break.
In the D1 sprint at 6:42pm, Craig sides with Swift Mel, who has shown plenty of promise in her three starts so far. A sharp break could see her go one better after an excellent second last time, and she's fancied to end Russanda Mario's winning run.
Finally, Craig fancies Tee Emgee Angel in the 4:43pm at Kinsley, a reliable type in this grade who can take advantage of likely crowding out wide. With the inside expected to open up, he looks solid value to strike from a handy draw.
