Sent off at 14/1, Editeur Du Gite made all off the running and looked to be tiring up the Cheltenham hill after the last, with Edwardstone grabbing a narrow advantage before jockey Niall Houlihan and Editeur Du Gite dug deep and retook the lead in the final strides.
