The Snooker Championship League is one of the first big events to take place during the snooker season, and that will be no different in 2022 when the event reappears.
Championship League Snooker Format 2022
128 players will take part in the Championship League. The competition will be played in group format, with the exception of the final, which will be abest of five game between the two final group winners.
Here is how the competition works, and key dates to look out for.
- Stage One – 32 groups of 4 players
- Stage Two – 8 groups of 4 players
- Stage Three – 2 groups of 4 players
- Final – Two group winners play each other
