European Championship Darts Betting Tips, Predictions & Odds

The run-up to the World Championship is well and truly underway on the PDC Tour, with another major TV title up for grabs and vital momentum to gain.
Westfallenhalen in Germany hosts the European Championship this weekend, bringing to a close the 14 events contested on the European Tour this season.Â
Ritchie Edhouse is the surprise reigning champion in Dortmund but hasn’t made the cut to defend his crown in the 2025 edition, with Luke Littler the pre-tournament favourite with UK betting sites as he seeks to bag every major title on tour.
Lewis Watson, the darts expert at Free Bets, has his latest darts tips ahead of the action.
European Championship Tips
Tip 1: Luke Littler to win the European Championship - 11/4
We know it’s boring, but seeing Luke Littler at 11/4 to win a darts tournament feels like printing money at the moment.
Obviously it isn’t that simple, but the 'Nuke' seemed to go up a gear in his recent World Grand Prix title win and will be a big favourite for whoever he’s paired with in Dortmund.
First up it’s Raymond van Barneveld, then possibly James Wade before a potential quarter-final meeting with world number one Luke Humphries.
To any normal professional darts player that would read like a murderer’s row of opponents, but Littler isn’t a normal professional darts player.
Tip 2: Josh Rock to win his quarter - 12/5
Josh Rock is enjoying a long-awaited breakout in 2025, reaching three major semi-finals and winning the World Cup for Northern Ireland.
Rock arrives in Dortmund as the eighth seed and has found himself plonked in a pretty winnable quarter at the top of the draw.
He can only meet one of Nathan Aspinall, Rob Cross or the in-form Dirk van Duijvenbode to snatch a semi-final place, and shouldn’t find too many hurdles before this potential meet.
Only Luke Littler has a higher average over the last 12 months of play than 'Rocky' so a 12/5 shout for him to win three matches in Dortmund looks great.Â
Tip 3: Gerwyn Price to reach the final - 10/3
Gerwyn Price probably heads up the chasing pack behind both Luke Littler and Luke Humphries at the moment.
The Welsh star has trimmed down, kept his aggression on the oche and it’s paying dividends in a string of solid outings.
The 'Iceman' will avoid both Lukes until the final, so will only have to concern himself in getting past one of the likes of Stephen Bunting, Michael van Gerwen or fellow Welshman Johnny Clayton if he is to reach a second final here.Â
