Premier League Darts Tips: Nottingham Predictions & Odds Night 6

We were rightfully confident that it wouldn’t last long…
After blanking over the first four weeks of Premier League action, Luke Littler took the spoils on Night 5 in Cardiff, rocketing him up to number three in the league standings.
The world number one then went to Minehead at the weekend and defended his UK Open title, so, of course, he arrives in Nottingham as the red hot favourite to continue this winning form at Night 6.
After sharing some time together watching the horses at Cheltenham on Monday, Littler and Luke Humphries have been paired in the same half of the draw in Nottingham, with Gerwyn Price and Gian van Veen standing in the way of an all-Luke semi-final showdown.
This means that three of the bottom four in the standings sit in the top half of Thursday's draw, offering opportunities for Josh Rock, Stephen Bunting and Michael van Gerwen to rocket up the table.
The Premier League may be proving predictably unpredictable so far, but there’s a chance that the table is shaking out as we head to Robin Hood country.
Below, Free Bets has all you need for the fifth night of action.
Darts Premier League Tips: Night 6
Let’s take a look at some of the best betting tips for Thursday night’s action:
Josh Rock to beat Stephen Bunting
It’s the battle of the bottom-feeders in Thursday night’s first encounter.
Stephen Bunting and Josh Rock sit in 7th and 8th, respectively, in this year’s Premier League table, with a combined five points signalling their struggles.
Those five points all belong to the “Bullet” after he won Night 4 in Belfast, but other than that, Bunting has struggled to argue the spot for his inclusion two years running.
Josh Rock enjoyed a solid UK Open losing narrowly to Luke Littler in the semi-finals, and this confidence in his game should see him get off the mark in this year’s Premier League.
Gian van Veen to beat Luke Humphries
Gian van Veen leads 5-2 in career matches against Luke Humphries, landing in a rare club that can say that they get the better of “Cool Hand” more often than not.
The young Dutchman has made three out of five finals so far in the Premier League, finishing runner-up in all three, but showing the worth of his inclusion already to the PDC paymasters.
Humphries hasn’t jumped the semi-final fence yet this year, and with a distracting trip to Cheltenham disrupting his week (as well as a disappointing 6-10 loss to Danny Noppert in the UK Open 6th Round) we’re backing Van Veen to continue his impressive debut season in the tournament.
Luke Littler 6-3 Gerwyn Price
Gerwyn Price usually turns up against Luke Littler, but now that the youngster has rediscovered his mojo, we’re expecting another solid performance from the world champion.
Price has reached the semi-finals two weeks running and won Night 2, so Littler shouldn’t feel too bad in sweeping him aside and handing him an early night.
After early holds of throw expect Littler to sprint for the line taking this one with a bit of breathing space.
