This feels like it will be a close encounter, but both teams can score goals. Expect an entertaining affair with the points being shared.
Tip 2: Marc Cucurella to be shown a card
Marc Cucurella is an ever present in the Chelsea team having started 15 of their 16 Premier League games this season. He is known for being a tough tackling defender who loves to get involved in a scrap.
The Spaniard has committed 23 fouls in the league this season which is the most that any Chelsea player has over their 16 league games. He has already been booked three times as well and it wouldn’t be shocking to see him get another in this game.
On top of that Cucurella has received two more yellow cards this season in cup competitions. Expect a mistake or two from him and a card to follow.
Tip 3: Bruno Guimaraes 1+ shot on target, Pedro Neto to score or assist, Marc Cucurella to be shown a card
Bruno Guimaraes is always a threat from the midfield and loves to have a shot. The captain of Newcastle has had 23 shots this season in the league with ten of them hitting the target. In his last three league games Guimaraes has had eight shots with six of them hitting the target.
Pedro Neto is Chelsea’s top scorer this season with five goals in the Premier League. He has also had three assists which makes him Chelsea’s most effective attacking force so far this season. He should get opportunities in this game.
Finally add Marc Cucurella to be shown a card. The Spaniard is feisty to say the least and has committed 23 fouls this season. He has been booked five times already in all competitions and another could come here.
