Nottingham Forest vs Manchester United Predictions, Tips & Latest Odds

Nottingham Forest will hope to dispel the gloomy atmosphere pervading the club when they host Manchester United on Saturday afternoon.
Last time out, Forest crashed to a 2-0 defeat away to Bournemouth, but the new managerial bounce with Sean Dyche’s arrival didn’t materialise. Manchester United, on the other hand, are upwardly mobile and targeting the Champions League spots.
We’ve divulged some juicy football betting tips from the most trusted sites to whet your appetite ahead of kick-off.
Nottingham Forest vs Manchester United Tips
Are we going to see a revitalised Nottingham Forest on Saturday or Manchester United continue their quest for five successive wins?
Here's a look at some basic odds, and our tips.
Tip 1: Manchester United to win & BTTS - 11/4
It seems that Ruben Amorim’s vision is coming to life at United. The centre-backs have understood their task of stepping out to become auxiliary midfielders, and United seem more interconnected on the pitch.
Three league wins on the trot is uncharted territory under the Portuguese tactician, and they were in the ascendancy for large periods of their 4-2 win over Brighton.
For the first time since November 2008, the Red Devils found themselves leading by two goals or more at half-time in three consecutive league games at Old Trafford.
Forest, on the other hand, have been woeful. They conceded direct from a corner away to Bournemouth in a 2-0 reverse, and the visitors managed just 0.37 xG (expected goals), the 11th-lowest total by any Premier League team this term.
It’s going to take time for things to turn around at Forest, but I don’t expect Forest to take the wind out of United’s sails. It seemed scarcely believable a few weeks ago that United would be looking to the coveted Champions League berths, but I think they will win & the BTTS line will be met.
Tip 2: Manchester United to be ahead in the first 30 mins - 4/1
A quick start against Forest will be imperative, and United have charged out of the blocks in recent weeks.
In their winning streak, United have hit the front foot and been ahead inside the first half an hour. Against Sunderland, they were 2-0 up inside 31 minutes.
Forest may have won their past two clashes with United, but they have generally run out of steam in the second half of fixtures this term.
Anyway, as a special, I’m going with United to be ahead inside the opening 30 minutes, and if anything, the odds feel slightly long.
Tip 3: Matheus Cunha to net the last goal of the game - 13/2
United’s front line was expensively assembled, and it was always going to take time to settle.
Bryan Mbuemo, for example, has been in fine fettle with four goal involvements in his past three United outings, while Matheus Cunha opened his account in style against the Seagulls, netting from his 25th shot in the league this term.
Anyway, Cunha has given United more fluidity and dimension. To round things off, I’m going with Cunhas to apply the finishing touches to the win.
