Racing Blogger’s Weekend Four-Fold
I’ve got four tips for Saturday, covering England and Scotland, so let's hope we can do some damage at the betting sites.
Tip 1: Newcastle United to beat Everton
We’ll start with Newcastle. They’ve really turned a corner under Eddie Howe and are in excellent form. Qualifying for the Champions League knockout stages with a convincing win shows where they’re at right now.
St James’ Park is a hard place to go, it always has been, and I expect them to have too much at home.
Tip 2: Hearts to beat Aberdeen
Up in Scotland, Hearts are still in control of their own destiny at the top of the table. They’re very strong at home and this feels like a must-win if they’re serious about staying there.
I think they’ll have too much forAberdeen.
Tip 3: Motherwell to beat Dundee United
Also in Scotland, Motherwell are quietly putting together an excellent season. They’re only 10 points off the top with a game in hand, which tells you everything.
Dundee United have struggled away from home and I’m expecting a home win here.
Tip 4: Liverpool to beat West Ham
And finally, Liverpool. They slightly laboured at Nottingham Forest last week but found a late winner, and that could prove important.
This is another must-win in their push for Champions League football and I expect them to beat a weak West Ham side.
