Rangers vs Braga Bet Builder, Tips & Latest Odds

Rangers play their second of three home games on Thursday night against Braga with everything on the line. So far, Rangers are one of only two teams, alongside Nice, that have lost every game so far. However, Danny Rohlโs side have only scored one goal so far in the group stages and conceded eight.
Fans wouldnโt have expected to beat Roma but would have expected much better performances against Genk, Sturm Graz and Brann. These were matches that, in previous years, Rangers probably would have come away with nine points and been in a much healthier position in the group stage.
Braga have been in much better form in Europe though and have won three out of four so far, though they suffered their first defeat last time out in a 4-3 thriller against Genk, who also beat Rangers.
Previously though they defeated Feyenoord, Celtic and Crvena Zvezda which leaves them sitting fifth, ahead of the likes of Aston Villa, Betis, Porto, Bologna and Nottingham Forest.
Braga were considered the best side out with the top three but have already fallen fifteen points behind leaders Porto, twelve behind Sporting and nine behind Benfica.

Rangers vs Braga Tips
Check out our three free betting tips for Thursday's clash in Glasgow.
Tip 1: Over 2.5 goals & both teams to score
Neither side look particularly strong defensively so I donโt think they will manage to keep the other out. Rangers have the advantage of the home crowd and a fast start would particularly help with the energy the home fans could provide.
Braga have plenty of options going forward, particularly in the form of the experienced Ricardo Horta and Uruguayan winger Rodrigo Zalazar. With Lelo on the left and Moutinho in the midfield I think theyโll create plenty of chances and with Rangers makeshift defence, there will be goals.
Tip 2: Djeidi Gassama to score or assistย
Gassama is the only reason Rangers remained in the Champions League qualification for so long. His goals against Panathinaikos and Viktoria Plzen helped set up the tie with Club Brugge but unfortunately he couldnโt help the squad get over that hurdle.
His form in the league has been up and down but heโs a player that is definitely capable of making something from nothing. He needs to be more consistent with his end product but his ability to get inside and open up space will always either give him a chance to shoot or the opportunity to set up a team mate.
Tip 3: Emmanuel Fernandez to be shown a card, Bojan Miovski to have 1+ shots on target & Rangers to score in the first half
I thought Fernandez performed well in a tough game on Saturday but heโs very relaxed which sometimes leads to issues with strikers that will press and silly fouls sometimes follow. Miovski was a much better option to lead the line on Saturday and I think that will mean he starts on Thursday.
Rangers have struggled to create too much but Miovski to get a shot on target isnโt a big ask and I donโt think them scoring in the first half is either. The good Rangers teams in Europe in recent years have started quickly and got the Ibrox crowd behind them.
The fans definitely seem to be taking to Danny Rohl and the mood in the fan camp has been lifted with the sackings of two key board room players. The noise at kick-off could be enough to give the players a boost that theyโve been missing and get that first-half lead.
