Tottenham vs Chelsea Predictions, Tips & Latest Odds
Adam Martin
We have got an exciting London derby to look forward to on Saturday evening as Chelsea travel to Tottenham.
Chelsea lost at home in their last game and will be hoping to bounce back but it won’t be easy against a Spurs team that is in third place in the Premier League.
We’ve got a few betting tips and predictions to look at ahead of the game.
Tottenham vs Chelsea Tips
Tip 1: Tottenham to win and both teams to score - 7/2
Tottenham have had a great start to the season under new manager Thomas Frank. The ex-Brentford manager has made it a priority to sort out the Spurs defence and it’s seeing great results already.
They are currently third in the league and have only conceded seven goals in nine Premier League games. This is a massive difference compared to last season and will take them a long way.
Chelsea are not having as good a season but are still in a decent position to push up the league. The injury to Cole Palmer has had a big impact on them and to lose a player of that talent for a long period of time would hurt any team.
The biggest issue Chelsea have is a lack of consistency. Losses at home to Brighton and Sunderland are poor results but then beating Liverpool and Nottingham Forest away are good results.
Expect Tottenham to get the win but give up a goal against a team who normally score at least one goal a game.
Tip 2: Pedro Neto to score anytime - 4/1
Pedro Neto has started all nine of Chelsea’s Premier League games this season and is a threat to score in most games. He has had 11 shots and three on target during the games.
He has managed to score twice and provide two assists as well. He isn’t a prolific goal scorer, but he is always involved in the most attacking parts of Chelsea’s play.
At 11/4 he is a good bet at a decent price that will give you a good run for your money.
Tip 3: Mohammed Kudus 1+ shot on target, Marc Cucurella shown a card, Pedro Neto to score anytime - 20/1
Mohammed Kudus has started in all nine of Tottenham’s Premier League games and has always looked lively. The Ghanaian attacker has done well since his move from West Ham in the summer and has had 14 shots. Out of the 14 shots five of them have been on target and he is a good price to get another one here.
Marc Cucurella has started all of Chelsea’s games this season and can often miss-time a tackle. The Spanish international has committed the most fouls in the Chelsea team with 13 and has had two yellow cards already.
Finally add Pedro Neto to score anytime. The Portugal forward has netted twice already this season. He has started every game this season and is joint top in the Chelsea team for shots with 11. Add him to this treble to make it 20/1.
