Wolves vs Aston Villa Betting Tips, Bet Builder Predictions & Odds

Bottom club Wolves host third placed Aston Villa in the opening Premier League game of the weekend on Friday night, and Villa would love to put three points on the board, keeping up the pressure on those behind chasing them.
I think it's all too little too late for Wolves, sat 17 points off safety as we head into the weekend, but they are playing a little better in recent games, though survival from here would be a miracle.
Here on Free Bets we've got tips for the game, plus the latest odds and information you need for this Friday night clash in the Midlands.
Wolves vs Aston Villa Betting Tips
Below are three betting tips in total, two singles on the game and then a combined bet builder tip at the end, to try and land us a bigger priced winner, fingers crossed!
Tip 1: Aston Villa Win & Under 3.5 Goals
I do think Villa have enough in the locker to come out on top here, and to kick us off, I'm coupling that with under 3.5 goals in the game, Wolves have struggled for goals all season, and Villa have slowed down themselves.
Looking at goals first, and while Wolves scored twice against Arsenal just over a week ago, that's the only time they've hit two in their last eight games, and they've failed to score in five of those eight.
Moving over to Villa with goals, four goals in their five February games is a slow down on previous, much better months. They scored 11 from seven in January, and 16 from seven in December.
As for the win, unfortunately for Wolves they just keep finding a way to lose games of football. A late goal against Crystal Palace over the weekend, and their last three home games have seen them lose twice, while picking up a point against an underperforming Arsenal last week.
I don't think it'll be vintage Villa, but I see them doing enough to scrape three points here.
Tip 2: Tammy Abraham to Score Anytime
Aston Villa have gone back in time to bring Tammy Abraham back to the club, and the signs so far point to this being a shrewd bit of business.
Ollie Watkins has had a disappointing campaign so far, with just eight goals after playing the majority of starts before the January transfer window, such was the lack of striking options at Villa.
But since Abraham's arrival, there's been a buzz when the returnee has entered the pitch. On as a sub against Leeds last week, he gave Villa a lift, and would score the equaliser to grab them a point.
Given Watkins' poor performance that day, I think Abraham starts ahead of him on Friday, and I'll back him to continue his strong return to the club, by scoring what would be his third goal since returning to a Villa shirt.
Tip 3: Aston Villa to Win 1-0 & Tammy Abraham to Score
I'm going to combine everything I've wrote above, to create a simple double figure bet builder for Friday night.
To start, I'm really hopeful of Tammy Abraham starting, and I think he's got a point to prove at Villa, while also potentially making a last minute push for the England World Cup team.
The lack of goals, the way in which things seem to go against Wolves narrowly, and the fact I think Villa will be too strong, all leads me to backing them to win this game 1-0 to get us a bigger price.
Just as Wolves fell short by that score line at the weekend, I think they'll do the same here.
