Horse Racing Tips: Newbury & Southwell Friday 28th November

It's Friday, the racing looks good and below are three horse racing tips for the meetings at Newbury and Southwell, both of which are being covered live by ITV Racing.
A massive weekend of Grade One action awaits, but before we get there, let's try and find a winner or two on Friday.
Horse Racing Tips for Friday 28th November
My tips for Friday on Free Bets come from the races that are being shown on ITV, below you'll find my picks, reasoning and the latest odds on the racecard.
Newbury Tips
The first of my Newbury tips comes in the Grade Two novice chase, and the horse I like is yet to win over fences, but I don't think that will matter here.
1:50pm Newbury
Beaten on chase debut and seasonal reappearance last month, I think Wendigo is primed to bounce back and go one better here, to land his first chase win in this Grade Two contest.
He was second over fences the first time, behind Wade Out, a horse who I like, and one that has since gone to Cheltenham and won a good race, so the form certainly stacks up.
I get the feeling there's plenty more to come, he didn't quite get the job done, but that was always seen as a stepping stone to something bigger such as this contest.
An uncomplicated ride that stays further, expect Gavin Sheehan to be handy, and with jumping experience now behind him, I think he can land this Grade Two.
My second Newbury tip runs just over an hour later in the feature race, the Grade Two Long Distance Hurdle.
3:00pm Newbury
I don't think there's much depth at all in the staying hurdle division, and this race highlights that, with horses more known for chasing and handicappers, representing a large part of the field.
My pick is Strong Leader for the Olly Murphy team, a horse who isn't the most straight forward, and isn't what I'd describe as being top class, but I think he can still take this, despite both of those.
A winner in Grade Two company at Wetherby on reappearance, he had two of these in behind (Take No Chances and Doddiethegreat) and both of those had a fitness edge, with a run prior.
It's a muddled contest, but I think Strong Leader has the best profile to win it.
Southwell Tips
In the second of two televised races from Southwell's evening fixture, a consistent sprinter at an each way price gets my vote.
3:15pm Southwell
In a competitive Listed sprint, I'll take a chance on Zoum Zoum (EW) to go well from the Ralph Beckett yard, a horse that's had a really strong season in good races.
He's one from one on the all weather surface, which bodes well, and has selected formlines in the book which make him appeal strongly here.
Last time out at Doncaster, on the turf, he was a strong second in Listed company, in a race that I think was better than this one.
At almost double figures, he's worth an each way interest here.
