Buffalo Bills -3.5 (Alternate handicap market)
The Bills have not had everything their own way this season in the AFC East. They are currently second in the division with a 7-3 record but are two wins behind the New England Patriots.
If they have any chance of winning the division this is a must win game for them. They managed to get back to winning ways last Sunday defeating the Buccaneers in a high scoring affair.
Now they are going up against a Texans team that also must win this game to compete for a playoff spot. They are currently third in the AFC South behind the Colts and Jaguars. The Colts are way ahead, but a wildcard spot is still available.
Quarterback CJ Stroud has missed the last two games with concussion, and it looks like he will miss this one as well. Davis Mills has come in and got them two wins against the Jaguars and Titans though.
The Texan’s defence has been great all season, and this will be a tough one for the Bills. Despite that, the Bills offence should be able to score a decent number of points and get a win against a struggling Texans offence.
James Cook to score a touchdown anytime
James Cook had an amazing season last year and it was always going to be tough to replicate it. He is still having a great year and has got 968 rushing yards and seven touchdowns to go with it.
Only Jonathan Taylor has rushed for more yards this season. It had been a couple of weeks since Cook had last scored but he managed to get a touchdown against the Buccaneers last Sunday.
Expect that to have given him some more confidence and get back into the endzone for another touchdown against the Texans.
Woody Marks to score a touchdown anytime
The Texans have struggled on offence for most of the season but especially in the run game. Joe Mixon has missed all the season so far and that has opened room for rookie running back Woody Marks to be more involved.
At the beginning of the season, he was sharing reps with Nick Chubb but now he is the main guy. He has had four touchdowns this season and should have a good chance in this game give how poor the Bill’s run defence is.
They are currently ranked 31st in the league when it comes to giving up rushing yards. Expect Marks to get at least one touchdown in this encounter and get us a 6/1 winner.
