Brighton vs Liverpool Premier League Tips, Predictions & Odds

We have got a great game to look forward to on Saturday Lunchtime as Liverpool must travel down to Brighton. Both teams will want to go off on the international break with a win and keep their positive momentum going.
Brighton had a solid win last Saturday as they went away to Sunderland and came back with a 1-0 victory. Liverpool had a comprehensive victory in the Champions League on Wednesday night against Galatasaray.
Here are our best football betting tips and the best free bets ahead of Saturday's clash at The AMEX.
Brighton vs Liverpool Tips
Here are our top three betting tips and the best free bets ahead of Saturday's game at the AMEX.
Tip 1: Draw & both teams to score
Brighton is the epitome of average this season as they sit twelfth in the Premier League. After 30 games, Brighton have won ten games, drawn ten games and lost ten games.
Despite such a topsy turvy season Brighton are a different beast at home. They have played 15 times and have only lost three times. One was against league leaders Arsenal and one against rivals Crystal Palace.
Now they must take on a Liverpool team that are a long way off from their league winning form of last season. They currently sit fifth in the league and are only two points behind fourth spot.
A big win against Galatasaray on Wednesday means they are now in the Champions League quarterfinals. However, their league form has not been great of late.
In their last two games they have lost to bottom of the league Wolves and drawn to lowly Tottenham. Expect an entertaining game but one where both teams will ultimately cancel each other out.
Tip 2: Diego Gomez to be shown a card
Diego Gomez seems to get involved in so many altercations during a game its crazy. The young Paraguayan midfielder has been involved in 27 of Brighton’s 30 league games this season and committed 42 fouls in them.
He has only been fouled nine times though which shows it’s not that he goes in for fifty fifty challenges. He just has a poor temperament and because of that he has been booked eight times already this season.
Expect him to get involved in a few more confrontations in this game and therefore likely see a card.
Tip 3: Dominik Szoboszlai 1+ shot on target, Danny Welbeck to score & Diego Gomez to be shown a card
Dominik Szoboszlai is always good for a shot on target given his free kick abilities. The Hungarian midfielder has had 55 shots in the league with 19 of them hitting the target. He has also scored in his last two games.
Danny Welbeck is Brighton’s top goalscorer this season with ten goals over 29 appearances. The veteran forward doesn’t start as often as he used to but has started in four of Brighton’s last five games. He should get some opportunities against a Liverpool defence that look shaky.
Finally add Diego Gomez to be shown a card. The young Paraguayan has been booked eight times already this season and has seen three yellow cards in his last five games.
