Brighton will look to reaffirm their European aspirations when they welcome West Ham to the AmEx Stadium this weekend.
The Seagulls will have been smarting after their 4-3 defeat at home to Aston Villa in midweek, having initially raced into a 2-0 lead. West Ham, on the other hand, are plotting a way out of the relegation zone, and they picked up a point away to Manchester United.
I’ve lined up three tasty betting tips to add to your slips ahead of kick-off.

Here are our three football tips and predictions for the game.
Tip 1: Brighton to Win and Over 2.5 goals
Brighton will have rued letting things slip against Villa, having found themselves with a two-goal cushion within the first 30 minutes.
While Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler will have been dismayed, given his side’s 10-game unbeaten home run was arrested, they’ve had plenty of joy against West Ham down the years.
Indeed, the Seagulls have scored more goals against the Hammers than any other side (31), and they’ve only beaten United more times (eight) than West Ham (seven) in the competition.
More disconcertingly, Nuno Santo has only tasted victory in two of his nine meetings with Brighton as a manager (D5 L2).
Brighton have only lost one of their eight league clashes with West Ham, and the South Coast outfit have netted at least two goals in each of their previous three home games. I don’t think this will be a snooze fest. A combo bet of Brighton to win and over 2.5 goals is feasible.
Tip 2: Danny Welbeck to score 2+
Even in the autumn of his career, Danny Welbeck is showing no signs of slowing down.
With seven league goals to his name, he’s already comfortably on his way to eclipsing last season’s tally (10).
After a tepid start to the campaign, Welbeck has motored over the past couple of months. The forward has also bagged three goals in 10 meetings with West Ham as a Brighton player, so he will want to add to that tally.
I’ve got a feeling he could have a field day, and Welbeck to net a double carries attainable odds.
Tip 3: Brighton 13+ shots, Danny Welbeck 2 or more goals, Over 12.5 corners
While Brighton came up against a spirited Villa, Hurzeler’s charges could pepper West Ham’s goal. Across the past three home meetings with the Hammers, they’ve averaged 14 shots, so 13+ shots isn’t out of the question.
Welbeck poses a serious threat to West Ham. He’s netted a double twice this term, and he could grab a brace this weekend to put himself closer to Erling Haaland in the goalscoring charts.
This fixture has never been short on corners, and in a league clash in 2023, Brighton mustered 17 corners to West Ham’s four, but lost 3-1. I’m thinking Over 12.5 corners is worth completing this bet builder.
