Celtic vs Rangers Tips, Bet Builder & Latest Odds

The Old Firm take centre stage on Saturday lunchtime as second-placed Celtic host third-placed Rangers at a packed Celtic Park, with both sides desperate to keep touch with Premiership leaders Hearts.
Wilfried Nancy's Celtic appeared to be turning a corner after a disastrous start to his reign that saw four straight defeats, putting together back-to-back wins against 10-man Aberdeen and bottom-club Livingston.
However, that momentum was abruptly halted by a deserved 2–0 defeat away at an in-form Motherwell on Tuesday, a result that cost the Hoops the chance to draw level at the top of the table.
And they now face a Rangers side that have got the bit between their teeth under new boss Danny Rohl.
Celtic vs Rangers Tips
Here are our top three betting tips and the best free bet offers ahead of Saturday's Scottish Premiership clash.
Tip 1: Rangers (Double Chance)
The Bhoys put in a dismal performance in a 2-0 loss at Motherwell earlier this week, and there is a temptation to take a punt on Rangers to win at a big price as underdogs.
However, there is enough value in backing the visitors in the double chance market.
Rangers held Martin O'Neill's Celtic to a 1-1 draw in the League Cup semi-finals in November despite playing most of the match with 10 men, losing out 3-1 after extra time, and each of the last three Old Firm battles have ended all square.
Danny Rohl's side have lost just twice in their last 11 games, and they can take at least a point over a struggling home side at Celtic Park.
Tip 2: Connor Barron to be show a card
Connor Barron has been a standout in recent weeks for Rangers, but his all-action, aggressive style makes him a prime candidate to rack up fouls in a game that's guaranteed to be played at full throttle.
Barron averages 1.97 fouls per game in the Scottish Premiership, and the midfielder has picked up two yellow cards in his last six appearances, including against Motherwell last weekend.
With a bruising midfield battle on the cards at Celtic Park – likely involving plenty of direct contests with Callum McGregor – Barron should be right in the thick of the action, and he looks overpriced to end up in the book at some stage on Saturday afternoon.
Tip 3: Luke McCowan to have 1+ shots on target, Thelo Aasgaard to score or assist, Rangers over 5.5 corners
Luke McCowan to register a shot on target looks well within reach, given his advanced role from wing-back and licence to push on at every opportunity.
McCowan has already hit the target seven times this season, with four of those shots on target coming in his last five appearances.
For Rangers, Thelo Aasgaard to score or assist looks like a solid bet also.
The Norwegian, sent off in the League Cup clash with Celtic back in November, has responded impressively since, scoring in back-to-back games against Motherwell and St Mirren and adding an assist in the recent defeat at Hearts.
Finally, Rangers to record six or more corners is backed up by strong stats, with no side in the Scottish Premiership averaging more away corners than the Gers, who win around seven per game on the road.
Against a Celtic defence that has looked vulnerable in recent weeks, Rangers should spend enough time on the front foot to rack up the corners.
