Tip 1: Draw & Both Teams to Score
For the first time under Carrick’s tutelage, United looked a bit panicky against Fulham. They surrendered a two-goal lead, and a sense of nervousness crept around Old Trafford before Benjamin Sesko fired home deep in stoppage time.
More significantly, Carrick is only the third United manager to win all three of his first three league games in charge of the club.
From a Tottenham perspective, they looked vulnerable in the first half, particularly trying to contain Antoine Semenyo, and they lacked ideas going forward.
However, a much-improved second-half display saw Dominic Solanke contribute a brace, which included a stunning scorpion kick (okay, not as sublime as Olivier Giroud’s effort for Arsenal against Crystal Palace in 2017!), but it was a fabulous way to salvage a point.

Arguably one of the signings of the season, Bryan Mbeumo has underlined his value to United.
