To kick off my Newcastle vs Athletic Bilbao tips I'm going with the home side to win this game, and keep a clean sheet.
Newcastle have been strong in Europe so far, with two wins, Barcelona the only side to beat them, and also the only side to score past them.
Home form has been good all round, especially defensively, and this is the stats I'm building my hopes on.
In their last four home games, Newcastle have won all of them, and kept a clean sheet in three, conceding just one goal to Fulham in that time.
I think the Toon Army will be sent home happy, with a success for Newcastle, combined with a clean sheet, my first pick here.
Tip 2: Time of First Goal 11-20 Minutes - 4/1
Next up, another look at Newcastle and what they've been doing recently.
Their last four games, all competitions, they've scored an early goal, as early as minute four and as late as minute 32.
They like to get on top and pressure their opponents, have been rewarded for it recently, and can be rewarded again for it here.
A big European night, good atmosphere, must win game, I'll take an early goal here with 11-20 minutes my chosen bracket at 4/1, as I don't think Bilbao will be able to hold out too long.
Tip 3: BTTS No & Anthony Gordon Score 2 or More - 25/1
Rounding off the preview, I'll go with a little bet builder at nice odds, combining two picks. Both teams to score goes with a no here, as already mentioned above, I think Newcastle can keep a clean sheet here to make that a winner.
Then I'll add in Anthony Gordon to score two or more goals in the game. Not a prolific scorer, I know, but a player that is increasingly coming up in the big games, and delivering when it matters.
He's not scored a Premier League goal so far, but has scored in every Champions League game.
One against Barcelona, twice against Union St Gilloise and then one last time out against Benfica. Off on Sunday as a sub at half time, half to keep him for this and half tactically, I think he can have a big game here.
