Phoenix Open Betting Tips, Predictions & Odds

The PGA Tour heads back to the Arizona desert this week for the WM Phoenix Open, staged at TPC Scottsdale and once again set to deliver one of the most distinctive tests on the schedule.
The Stadium Course is short by modern standards but rarely straightforward, with generous landing areas that hide awkward angles, fast run-offs around elevated greens, and water waiting on the closing stretch.
Scoring is usually low, yet patience remains essential, particularly on the back nine, where leaderboards can swing quickly.
World number one Scottie Scheffler returns, having already proven how comfortable he is in birdie-friendly environments this season. His record in Phoenix is exemplary, though he did deliver a rare finish outside the top 20 here last season.

Tip 1: Winner - Brooks Koepka (Each-Way)
One of the undoubted course specialists in the field is Brooks Koepka, and I thought his odds would be a fair bit shorter.
He has two victories and a third-place finish here and has consistently put together positive putting numbers on these greens.
A low finish last week at Torrey Pines does little to concern me, as his tee-to-green performance was encouraging, and he’s never liked those greens.
TPC Scottsdale places greater emphasis on controlled irons and accurate green reading, two areas where Koepka has repeatedly delivered at this venue.
Tip 2: Winner - Nick Taylor (Each-Way)
Past results at TPC Scottsdale make it easy to support Nick Taylor this week. He has finished second and first in Arizona in the last few years, having previously struggled to make any impact on this layout.
The improvement has come alongside far more reliable approach play, particularly from the key mid-iron ranges that repeatedly decide scoring chances at Scottsdale.
His form in 2026 has also been solid, including a competitive title defence at the Sony Open in Hawaii. With comfort on these greens and a clear track record at this venue, his price still looks a little generous.
Tip 3: Winner - Hao Tong Li (Each-Way)
A sharp start life on the PGA Tour makes Hao Tong Li an interesting longshot again here. His T8 and T11 in his latest starts are made even better by the underlying numbers as he ranks highly for both approach and tee-to-green across those outings. That iron play is particularly important at TPC Scottsdale.
Li has also built a solid record on exposed desert layouts on the DP World Tour, including multiple wins and near misses in similar conditions. This may be his Phoenix debut, but recent first time starts in the United States have shown that unfamiliarity seldom holds him back.
Tip 4: Winner - Jacob Bridgeman (Each-Way)
Early season evidence suggests Jacob Bridgeman is moving in the right direction, with an excellent weekend at the Sony Open in Hawaii and another steady showing at The American Express.
What stands out most is the shift in his ball striking, with iron and driving numbers markedly improved compared to last season.
That is a meaningful development for TPC Scottsdale and if the long game gains hold, his upside looks higher than his price suggests.
