RSM Classic Betting Tips, Predictions & Odds
Ben Smith
The RSM Classic returns to the pristine Sea Island Golf Club in Georgia, marking the final event of the FedEx Cup Fall and the last chance for players hovering near the top-125 bubble to lock up full status for 2026.
Over the opening two days, the field rotates between the links-style Seaside Course and the lush, parkland Plantation layout before the cut sends survivors back to Seaside alone for the weekend.
With generous fairways, expansive Bermudagrass greens, and plentiful birdie opportunities on both tracks, especially when winds stay calm, this remains one of the Tourโs most scorable stops.
Yet subtle defences like water on nearly every hole, strategic bunkering, and tricky runoff areas around the putting surfaces ensure that precision and short-game creativity still separate the contenders from the pack.
Free Bets golf expert Ben Smith has picked out four golf betting tips of the RSM Classic.

Check out our four tips below alongside the top prices from the best betting sites.
Tip 1: Winner - Chris Kirk (Each-Way)
With his card already secured for 2026, Chris Kirk could have skipped the entire fall. Yet the only event heโs entered is Sea Island, the course he once called home and where he won in 2013.
That single, deliberate start tells you everything about his mindset. Fully rested after a break, heโs returning on the back of blistering form - three straight top-14 finishes to end the season, plus a US Open T12 and a runner-up in Detroit just before that.
Course history is streaky with some recent missed cuts, but when heโs on, the results are outstanding - a victory and two top-four finishes since. Fresh, motivated, and playing a layout he knows inside out, Kirk looks perfectly set up for a big week.
Tip 2: Winner - Vince Whaley (Each-Way)
Vince Whaley arrives at Sea Island riding genuine career-best form. Heโs posted two third-place finishes on Bermudagrass greens during this FedEx Cup Fall, making up two of his three top-fours in his last ten starts.
At 30 years old, heโs finally putting everything together after years of promise. Sea Island has become one of his favourite stops, with his 13th and 8th the past two seasons both fuelled by excellent tee-to-green play.
The field this week is one of the weakest in recent times, and the Georgia native will have huge home support. Momentum, comfort, confidence and opportunity are all peaking at once, so it all looks aligned for Whaley to grab that elusive first PGA Tour win this week.
Tip 3: Winner - Luke Clanton (Each-Way)
Luke Clanton returns to the venue where he delivered a runner-up finish last year as an amateur, firing four rounds in the 60s and nearly taking the title.
The Florida native has yet to replicate that magic since turning pro in June, but the long game remains elite and the putter showed life in his last two measured starts. Sea Islandโs wide fairways should play perfectly to his strengths, too.
Still only 21 and already proven he can contend here, Clanton at big odds feels like the ideal spot for his pro career to ignite.
Tip 4: Winner - Lee Hodges (Each-Way) (6 places)
Lee Hodges arrives in Georgia desperate to climb from 122nd in the FedEx Cup and secure his card.
This week offers a decent opportunity to do that, as this is a familiar style of course for the University of Alabama graduate who registered a fifth place here 12 months ago.
Hodgesโ ball-striking has been solid all year, and the putter which proved costly at this stage of last season has been far more dependable this term.
