Charlie McCann’s Horse Racing Tips For Monday, 8 June - Leicester & Pontefract

It's a busy day of racing action in the UK and Ireland, and Charlie McCann is here with his exclusive free horse racing tips - only at FreeBets.com.
1:30pm Leicester - Bradbury
BRADBURY hung left and then right when snatching defeat from the jaws of victory at Beverley last time, but can go one better with eye shields added to the tongue tie he has worn on his last three starts for Ed Bethell.
The selection has been beaten a short head and a head in his last two starts, but if the aid helps him concentrate, he will be tough to beat, although he is proving costly to follow with SP's of 9/4, 10/3, 9/4 and 6/4 since getting a handicap mark.
Jack Callan takes the ride in this apprentice handicap, and he looks the type who could run up a sequence if the penny drops, given he flashed his tail repeatedly when asked for maximum effort on his penultimate start.
The sole handicap debutant in the field is Sahm Naif, who was owned by Naif Suliman until last month. A half-brother to a couple of winners, he will appreciate the step up to 10f, and a market move would be worth noting. Trainer James Horton is not exactly firing in the winners, but he is someone whom I rate highly.
Recommendation: Bradbury - 11/8 with bet365
4:35pm Leicester - Zatsgood
ZATSGOOD made a winning handicap debut over a mile on polytrack at Lingfield last time and has only been raised 4lbs for that success, which seems fair.
A son of Frankel, he finished runner-up on his sole start for Andre Fabre as a juvenile, when owned by Juddmonte, and returned from a near 500-day absence when a beaten odds-on market leader at Newcastle on his first start for George Boughey.
That Newcastle defeat came over seven furlongs, and the four-year-old looked ready for a step up to 10f when finishing fast and late to break his maiden tag last time. He holds entries at 10f and a mile later in the week and, while his run in France came over 9.5f, his stamina is not exactly guaranteed on the distaff side of the family.
This is a hot handicap, and there are any number of dangers with Ted Le Saux – market suggested more was expected of him on handicap debut last time – considered the main danger having been dropped a couple of pounds since that run at Haydock.
Recommendation: Zatsgood - 7/4 with bet365
7:30pm Pontefract - Analogical
The ground was described as good at Pontefract on Sunday morning, but there is rain forecast for Monday (4-6mm), and conditions may ease slightly during the meeting.
Something was able to dictate slow fractions when making all at Ripon last week, and he will not be able to get away with similar tactics this evening, as Poppy Scott made all on ANALOGICAL at Catterick last time and looks sure to go forward again tonight.
Luke Morris has three rides at the track, but connections stay loyal to Scott after the selection was given a desperate ride by Dylan Hogan in a slowly run race at Thirsk (1m6f) on his penultimate start. This stiff mile-and-a-half looks ideal, and I hope he can draw the sting out of doubtful stayers Raulin and Say What You See, although the latter has won at this trip in the past on tapeta.
Analogical beat the grey Nightsinwhitesatin at Catterick, and I am convinced the latter remains well handicapped. It was only a four-runner race last time, but the third was 3l away, and a 2lbs rise for the Sir Mark Prescott-trained four-year-old looks fair.
Do note that Analogical would not want soft ground, and any significant easing of the ground would be considered a negative. I will not back the gelding until I see that conditions are no worse than good to soft.
Recommendation: Analogical - 11/4 with bet365
