Charlie McCann’s Horse Racing Tips For Saturday, 27 June - York, Newcastle & Chester
Charlie heads to York on Saturday for his best bet

It's a busy day of racing action in the UK and Ireland, and Charlie McCann is here with his exclusive free horse racing tips - only at FreeBets.
1:55pm York - Frankies Dream (Each-Way)
It looked a strong handicap that FRANKIES DREAM (Each-Way) finished second here last time over an additional furlong,g and he can defy a 2lb rise.
Clifford Lee takes over in the saddle for Jennie Candlish, and the five-year-old also won a good handicap over 7f here last season. He has improved for the step up in distance in recent starts, is well drawn in five and looks sure to run another big race at a track that obviously suits.
The market is headed by the William Haggas-trained Zennor Storm, who has been gelded since disappointing at Newbury last time. He is unbeaten in two all-weather starts but has yet to beat a horse in his two turf runs.
It will be interesting to see if the money continues to come for the three-year-old nearer post time.
Recommendation: Frankies Dream (Each-Way) - 15/2 with bet365 (5 places)
3:15pm Newcastle - Synergism (Each-Way)
Market leaders Circus Of Rome and Ride The Thunder have been fortunate with the draw and hold obvious chances. The moderate form of the Richard Hughes yard is a slight concern for the former, however, while the latter has never struck me as the heartiest of battlers.
I have followed Ride The Thunder through thick and thin and will kick myself if he prevails, but my preference is for SYNERGISM (Each-Way), who carries a 5lbs penalty for his fluent Lingfield success on his reappearance earlier in the month.
That Lingfield win was on turf, but the selection is a three-time all-weather winner and looks the type to improve as a four-year-old. His draw in stall nine is fine and, one would imagine, this has been the plan - optimistic or not - at Heath House for some time.
Recommendation: Synergism (Each-Way) - 14/1 with bet365 (5 places)
3:38pm York - Secret Force (Nap)
It was clear from some way out at Pontefract on Sunday that if SECRET FORCE (Nap) stayed the 2m2f trip, then he would win, and he duly got up close home to win half a length.
He must defy a 5lbs rise this afternoon, but the suggestion is that this 1m6f trip will be his optimum given he was staying on when third over 12f here on his penultimate start in the Queen Mother's Cup.
Oisin Orr takes over in the saddle for the first time - Mickey Sheehy was in the plate on Sunday - and the first-time visor did appear to eke out a bit of improvement. Connections nominated a trip to Goodwood as their likely next target at Pontefract, but they have obviously had a change of heart.
Rock N Roll Pinkie is a dual course winner, and this is more her grade, having been outclassed in the Brontë Cup here last time. She looks sure to run well, but preference is for Adrian Keatley's four-year-old, who can follow up last weekend's narrow but comprehensive success.
Recommendation: Secret Force (Nap) - 5/1 with bet365
4:45pm Chester - City Queen
The extended 10f fillies handicap is a cracker, but I have been waiting for CITY QUEEN to step up to this trip since she scored at Sandown over a mile last time under Toby Moore, who keeps the ride this afternoon.
The draw could not have been worse for Charlie Appleby's daughter of Dubawi - stall eight of eight - who is out of a listed winner at this mile-and-a-quarter, and I thought she won a bit snugly - only a head - at the Esher track and is open to significant improvement stepping up in distance.
Fellow three-year-old, the William Haggas-trained Hoseki, looks the chief threat having won her maiden at Redcar last time over 10f. She has a better draw than the selection, but races as if she will get even further, and, if the Godolphin-owned selection is within hailing distance at the furlong pole, I hope she has too much of a finishing kick for Hoseki.
Recommendation: City Queen - 5/2 with bet365
