Charlie McCann’s Horse Racing Tips For Sunday, 21 June - Pontefract & Hexham
Charlie heads to Hexham on Sunday for his best bet

It's a busy day of racing action in the UK and Ireland, and Charlie McCann is here with his exclusive free horse racing tips - only at FreeBets.com.
3:05pm Pontefract - Revoir
Codanna is the highest rated filly in the 12f listed race, and Ed Bethell's filly will want an end-to-end gallop given she stays further and is invariably held up out the back of her field.
She was no match for Estrange at Carlisle in a similar event, beaten 4l by the top-class grey. She is rated 2lbs clear of REVOIR, but preference is for Ralph Beckett's filly despite the fact she is hardly a serial winner, having landed just one of her nine career starts.
The Beckett yard have had eight winners in the last fortnight but were quiet on the first four days of the Royal meeting. Connections will be keen to get another win next to name before she heads off to the breeding sheds, and she has a better draw than her market rival.
Rossa Ryan was amongst the winners at Royal Ascot, but I was surprised he didn't get a ban for his winning ride on Daiquiri Bay on the opening day. He cut right across Song Of The Sea inside the final furlong, who was forced to snatch up, and the Wathnan runner finished fifth rather than third as a result.
It was the last race of the day, however, and the stewards obviously wanted to go home/open a bottle.
Recommendation: Revoir - 3/1 with bet365
3:35pm Pontefract - Secret Force
Trojan Soldier has won his last three since the application of cheekpieces and is only 5 lbs higher than when scoring over course and distance on good ground - not good to soft as per official description- last time.
He is likely to be short enough in the betting, however - no prices at the time of writing - and I thought SECRET FORCE looked worth a try at a marathon trip when a one-paced third in the Queen Mother's Cup at York last time.
A lightly raced son of Frankel, the four-year-old does not scream stayer on breeding, but I thought he was going to finish tailed off last time, but for rallying into third. Had this been 1m6f, he would have been a confident selection, and the booking of Mikey Sheehan catches the eye.
Recommendation: Secret Force - 7/2 with bet365
3:13pm Hexham - Conquer The Breeze (Nap)
CONQUER THE BREEZE (Nap) travelled well but failed to get home, not helped by a mistake at the last, over an additional half-mile here last time when chasing a hat-trick after two previous course and distance successes.
He was raised 21lbs for those two facile victories, but he shaped as though his new mark was workable last time, and he is taken to return to winning ways for Adam Nicol.
Glory And Honour made mistakes when scoring over course and distance earlier in the month, and he will remain competitive from a 5lbs higher mark. The hope is that he will give the selection a good tow into the race, and I will be disappointed if a mark of 102 is his ceiling.
Recommendation: Conquer The Breeze (Nap) - 10/3 with Ladbrokes
