Charlie heads to Uttoxeter on Sunday for his best bet
It's a busy day of racing action in the UK and Ireland, and Charlie McCann is here with his exclusive free horse racing tips - only at FreeBets.
3:12pm Uttoxeter - Drombeg Lad (Nap)
The 2m handicap chase was void here on Friday with four fences to go following the fatal fall of Rocks Up Late. I had recommended two in the race and was on very good terms with myself courtesy of Ghasham, who I thought was travelling as well as anything bar the market leader Ice Jet, who was cantering when pulling up at the top of the home straight.
Ice Jet reverts to timber this afternoon, running from the same mark, and is the one to beat given he didn't have a hard race, but his three wins over hurdles earlier in the spring/summer were over an additional half mile, and he is 31lbs higher in the weights than when beaten a neck at Wetherby on his last start over the minimum trip over hurdles.
The vote, however, goes to DROMBEG LAD (Nap), who landed a Maiden hurdle at Worcester last time, giving him reward for a series of consistent efforts. He has been raised 6lbs for that fluent 4l success when he settled much better than is often the case. He could be called the winner a long way from home at Worcester, and the hope is that he will drop his head again today.
Kielan Woods and Harry Skelton will have their mounts anchored in the rear, and the hope is that there is enough pace in the race. Bright Legend made all at Sedgefield on his penultimate start, and perhaps his jockey, who has yet to ride a winner under rules, will try and nick it from the front.

4:12pm Uttoxeter - Karnaval Point
There is a terrific, valuable 2m7f+ handicap hurdle with the majority of the nine-runner field going into the race on the back of an excellent recent run.
Tyson didn't stay 3m2f on his penultimate start before finding 2m6f on the sharp side at Stratford when given plenty to do. This could well be his optimum trip, and he is a must for the shortlist.
Divilabother carries a 7lbs penalty for his fluent win over 2m4f here on Friday, but he has now won his last three, and it was a career best performance here forty-eight hours ago. He stays 3m and looks the one to beat if over those exertions.
KARNAVAL POINT did us a favour when scoring over fences here earlier in the month, and he reverts to hurdles from a 5lbs lower mark than his chase rating. He has run well in all three starts since coming across from France and has enjoyed the good ground.
He improved again for the step up to 3m last time and gets on well for Rian Corcoran, who has thrived since Jack Tudor announced he would be riding as first jockey for the Greenall/Guerriero yard going forward.
