It's a busy day of racing action in the UK and Ireland, and Charlie McCann is here with his exclusive free horse racing tips - only at FreeBets.
4:20pm Lingfield - Celesterak
Hope Rising has made all to win her last three on turf but has been raised 15lbs for those fast ground successes and has to prove her effectiveness on an all-weather surface, having been beaten a total of forty lengths on her two previous starts in a synthetic experience.
She has improved markedly for the step up in distance for Jamie Snowden – wins over distances from 12f to two miles – and is in the form of her life, but preference is for the three-year-old CELESTERAK who finished a short head behind La Peregrina – who reopposes today - at Goodwood in June.
The gelding was correctly awarded the race at Goodwood, having been intimidated and carried left by the first past the post, and the selection is 6lbs better off – nine if you include Mason Paetel's claim – having disappointed in a farce of a race at Epsom on his sole subsequent start.
His 54-day absence from the track since Epsom suggests David Menuisier was not happy with his gelding, who has only had six career starts. He only beat one home on his sole previous AW start, but that was in a mile maiden when a 40/1 shot.
La Peregrina won a poor Thirsk handicap last time and is proven at the trip, but he has a bit to find with the selection on the revised terms since Goodwood.

5:18pm Ripon - Regally Blonde
Ben Case saddled the mare REGALLY BLONDE to win the concluding 2m handicap twelve months ago under Jack Nicholls, and she can follow up this afternoon from a 6lbs lower mark.
The seven-year-old had hinted that she was returning to something like her best in recent starts prior to winning at Lingfield last time despite being sent off 33/1 under Saffie Osborne. That polytrack success came from a 3lbs lower mark, which is negated by the claim of Nicholls. Last year's win came on fast ground, but she has run well on good to soft and, to a lesser extent, soft ground although, in an ideal world, she would not want conditions to deteriorate beyond good to soft.
Si White is visored for the first time but looked a non-stayer at this 2m trip when caught close home, having been clear two furlongs out, at Lingfield last time when fifth to the filly Femme Fatale. She may have made her bid for glory too soon on that occasion, but her stamina is a concern, especially if the ground eases.
Recommendation: Regally Blonde
6:20pm Wolverhampton - Variety Act (Nap)
VARIETY ACT (Nap) can make a winning handicap debut for Sir Mark Prescott having run an eye-catching race at Kempton last time when a never nearer fourth over 7f, giving every impression the step up in distance by 1.5f would see him in a better light.
He was nibbled at in the betting at Kempton – 13/2 from 8s – so a decent run was expected having been beaten just a neck at Chelmsford in a Maiden last autumn.
Lux Aeterna is only 2lbs higher than when scoring over course and distance back in the spring, and Ed Dunlop fits the filly with blinkers for the first time, having disappointed in her last couple of starts. David Egan was in the saddle for that win back in April, and he is in the plate for the first time since then.
