Arsenal vs Chelsea Betting Tips, Bet Builder Predictions & Odds

North London is red after Arsenal’s win in the derby against Tottenham and the Gunners now have their sights set on strengthening their grip over the rest of the capital as they get set to face Chelsea.
Mikel Arteta’s team want to end the season as English champions, but have arguably already conquered its biggest city having stretched their unbeaten run in top-flight London derbies to 25 games when winning 4-1 at Spurs.
They’ve recorded 18 wins in that time and betting sites make them heavy favourites to chalk up another victory at Chelsea’s expense in the fourth meeting between the sides this season.
The Blues have lost two of those three previous encounters, going down to defeat in both legs of the recent Carabao Cup semi-final tie.
Chelsea have failed to win any of the last 10 meetings with Arsenal, so the deck appears stacked against the visitors. However, in an effort to find some value with my football betting tips, there are opportunities to get against the Gunners in a pressure spot.
Arsenal vs Chelsea Tips
We’ve got three betting tips for Sunday’s London derby, including a bet builder, the latest odds and the best free bet offers.
Tip 1: Chelsea/draw double chance
No matter the outcome of Manchester City’s trip to Leeds, the pressure will be on Arsenal to deliver here as the race for the Premier League title heats up.
They coped well with that pressure against Tottenham, but were helped out by Spurs playing into their hands.
Tottenham’s high line gave Vitkor Gyokeres the kind of space he craves, while they let Eberechi Eze get into areas where he can cause issues. Chelsea should show more tactical nous against an Arsenal team that have won just three of the last eight league games.
The Blues' last two results - home draws against Leeds and Burnley - showed head coach Liam Rosenior still has a way to go with his team, particularly on discipline after Wesley Fofana collected Chelsea’s sixth red card of the season.
However, Chelsea’s away record this season is only second to Arsenal’s, and the three previous matches between the teams this season have been closely fought.
The Blues more than held their own with 10-men against the Gunners in the reverse league fixture, a couple of Robert Sanchez errors helped Arsenal out in the first leg of the League Cup semi-final, and the second leg was heading for a goalless draw before Arteta’s men scored a last-minute winner.
Two of Chelsea’s three away league defeats this season have come after having players sent-off in the first half. If they can keep 11 on the pitch - and it’s a sizeable if - the Chelsea or draw double chance option on football betting sites could give punters a good run for their money.
Tip 2: Joao Pedro to win over 2.5 fouls
Joao Pedro is enjoyed a good run of form, scoring six times in his last seven appearances for Chelsea, and should prove a handful again on Sunday.
The Brazilian led the line very well in the second leg of the EFL Cup semi-final against Arsenal, proving a real handful for William Saliba and Gabriel.
Saliba, in particular, had a hard time dealing with Joao Pedro’s physicality and the Chelsea forward ended up being fouled four times that night.
He won the same number of free kicks in the first leg of the tie, too. A deeper dive into his stats reveals he has a knack for winning free kicks in big away games, being fouled three or more times on trips to Manchester City, Manchester United and Bayern Munich this season.
Tip 3: Over 0.5 Gabriel fouls, Malo Gusto to be shown a card & under 3.5 goals
These two teams know each other well having met twice in 2026 already, and tensions did threaten to boil over in the second leg of the League Cup semi-final.
That’s a big influence for our bet builder tips, with Gabriel fancied to give away at least one foul up against Joao Pedro. He conceded three last time the sides met and has committed at least one foul in seven of his last 10 appearances.
With Marc Cucurella out injured, Malo Gusto has been filling in at left-back for Chelsea and he faces a difficult examination from Bukayo Saka.
The Arsenal wideman put in a good showing at Tottenham, giving Djed Spence the runaround and being fouled four times. A similar performance against a makeshift left-back that’s been carded twice in his last four games may see Gusto end up in the book.
Chelsea have largely done a good job of nullifying Arsenal in previous meetings and while this match won’t be as cautious as their last encounter, it's a stretch to see a game of such high importance to both sides featuring four or more goals.
