Manchester City vs Leeds Tips, Bet Builder & Latest Odds

After successive defeats, Manchester City must be licking their lips at the prospect of Leeds visiting the Etihad on Saturday as they look to get their season back on track.
Daniel Farke has been under mounting pressure at Leeds after a run of five defeats in six matches, and it is unlikely to get any easier for a side with one win and four goals away from home this season.
We've picked out our choice of betting tips ahead of the game, along with odds from our choice of UK betting sites.
Manchester City vs Leeds Tips
We've got three football tipsย for Saturday's game.
Tip 1: Erling Haaland to score 2+
Erling Haaland was made to wait for his 100th Premier League goal against Newcastle last weekend, and after sitting out - or at least being benched - in the Champions League during the week, he should be raring to go against his boyhood club.
Even by his standards, Haaland has been in rare form this season with 19 goals in 17 club matches, and a further 12 in five international matches, so a game against one of the weakest defences in the league should be easy pickings.
In fairness to the Leeds defence, they have tended to cope relatively well with opposition strikers this season and it is actually runners from midfield who tend to score the most goals, but Manchester City should get a big win in this one and Haaland will enjoy himself.
Tip 2: Phil Foden to score from outside the box
After a bit of a dip last season, there have been signs recently that Phil Foden is starting to find his best form again, and in the central role he has long been tipped for.
In previous campaigns, Foden has had to play second fiddle to Kevin De Bruyne and settle for a role on the right wing but he has been trusted to play more centrally recently.
He, along with Haaland, was rotated onto the bench against Bayer Leverkusen during the week so I would expect him to come back into the side after he was thrown on at half-time to try and rescue a point.
Foden does only have one league goal to his name so far this season, but Leeds have conceded a lot of goals to cut-backs and shots from outside the area this season - with the positioning of goalkeeper Lucas Perri called into question.
Foden's strength is around the edge of the D and finding the bottom corner, and I think that specific goal is well in play this weekend.
Tip 3: Manchester City -2 handicap, Phil Foden 1.5+ shots on target, Manchester City to win both halves
I do expect Manchester City to win this game pretty convincingly - Leeds have been pretty bad recently, are toothless away from home and have been conceding goals for fun of late.
I can only see them posing a threat with a counter-attack or if the ball drops in the right place and they get lucky with a good strike, because their build-up play recently has been non-existent, particularly on the road.
City will be smarting from successive defeats so expect a reaction - even if they aren't the free-scoring City side of recent years - and I expect Phil Foden to be the main man on the day.
Leeds have really struggled to track midfield runners this season. In recent weeks, think Morgan Gibbs-White, Morgan Rodgers, Donyell Malen, Geroginio Rutter, so Foden should be able to find some nice pockets for someone like Jeremy Doku to pull the ball back to.
Perri is a bit suspect in the Leeds goal so he will have plenty of work to do, and Foden has a good shot on him from 20 yards so we could see quite a few attempts.
