Newcastle vs Manchester City FA Cup Tips, Bet Builder Predictions & Odds

We have got a weekend away from the Premier League now and a big FA Cup matchup to look forward to on Saturday night. Manchester City will be taking on Newcastle, and the winner will reach the quarterfinals of the cup.
Newcastle have just come off a great result, beating Manchester United 2-1 when down to ten men for over half the game. Manchester City, however, lost ground to league leaders Arsenal, only managing to draw 2-2 at home to Nottingham Forest.
Newcastle vs Manchester City Tips
Here are our top three football betting tips and the best free bets ahead of Saturday night’s clash at St James Park.
Tip 1: Draw and both teams to score @ 10/3 (Paddy Power)
Newcastle fans haven’t had much to shout about this season compared to the last few years. After 29 games they are sitting 12th in the league and have got 39 points which is 12 points off the Champions League qualification places.
Being a long way off the top and unlikely to go far in the Champions League, it feels like the FA Cup is Newcastle’s best chance of silverware. They had a big win last weekend and only lost 2-1 away to Manchester City a couple of weeks ago.
Now they must face them again but this time its at home and Manchester City have not had great recent form. They snuck past Leeds with a 1-0 win at Elland Road and then drew at home to Nottingham Forest 2-2.
Manchester City are still a very good team and should be able to put lots of pressure on Newcastle in this game. However, they are not as good as they once were, and Newcastle tend to turn up on big cup nights.
Expect this to be an exciting game with goals for both sides but ultimately both teams are likely to cancel each other out over 90 minutes.
Tip 2: Antoine Semenyo to score anytime @ 15/8 (Bet365)
Antoine Semenyo has had a great season this year scoring 15 goals and having four assists as well. A large chunk of that was when he played for Bournemouth before his big money move to Manchester City in January.
Since his arrival in Manchester, Semenyo has scored five goals and had one assist in the eight premier league games he has featured in. He has also scored two more goals in the three cup games he has played in.
He is a good price to score again here.
Tip 3: Malick Thiaw 1+ shot on target, Bernardo Silva to be shown a card, Antoine Semenyo to score anytime @ 28/1 (Paddy Power)
Malick Thiaw has become an ever present in the Newcastle team this season and he is a threat going forward. The German defender has had 24 shots in the league with 12 of them hitting the target. He could get another shot on target here.
Bernardo Silva loves to get involved in a scrap and he could easily get booked in this game. He has committed 33 fouls in the premier league this season and has been booked eight times.
Finally add Antoine Semenyo to score anytime. Semenyo has scored 18 goals this season for both Bournemouth and Manchester City this season. He has also scored three goals in his last five games.
