Newcastle vs Manchester City Tips, Bet Builder Predictions & Latest Odds

There is no let up in the world of football for the top teams. We have got the semi-finals of the League Cup to look forward to this week, and we start with a potential cracker.
Manchester City must travel to Newcastle for the first leg of what should be an entertaining encounter. City have struggled a bit in the league over the last couple of weeks with three draws in a row.
Newcastle on the other hand have had three wins in a row in the league and should be feeling confident.
Here are our top three betting tips and the best free bet offers ahead of Tuesday nightโs big cup matchup.
Newcastle vs Manchester City Tips
Tip 1: Draw and both teams to score
Newcastle have managed to turn around their league form since the beginning of the year. Three league wins and an FA Cup victory have seen confidence come back and them move up the table to sixth spot.
So far in the league cup this season Newcastle have beaten Bradford, Tottenham and Fulham. The current holders of the League Cup will not want to give up the trophy anytime soon.
However, they have got a tough assignment now as they must take on Manchester City. City had a great December winning all seven of the games they played in. However, things have not been so good since the turn of the year.
Three draws in succession against Sunderland, Chelsea and Brighton have been disappointing form for City. They did destroy Exeter 10-1 in the FA Cup last Saturday but that was expected.
Although Cityโs form is not great currently, they should have enough to get a draw in what should be an entertaining game.
Tip 2: Tijjani Reijnders to score or assist anytime
Tijjani Reijnders has had a bumpy start to his Premier League life at Manchester City. The Dutch midfielder had a great start but then spent some time out of the first eleven.
He has had 37 shots this season with 14 of them hitting the target. Reijnders has scored five goals this season and got two assists on top of that as well.
Although the numbers might not seem that impressive, he does seem to have hit form now. He has scored four goals in his last eight Premier League games and, he scored on Saturday in the FA Cup game against Exeter City.
Expect Reijnders to get involved in this game as well.
Tip 3: Bruno Guimaraes 1+ shot on target, Joelinton to be shown a card, Tijjani Reijnders to score or assist
Bruno Guimaraes is always good to have a shot in any game. In the league he has had 29 shots with 15 of them hitting the target. He has also scored eight times and got three assists on top of that.
Guimaraes always pushes harder for the bigger games and not much is bigger than a cup semi-final at home. Expect him to have a few shots in this one.
Joelinton is a combative midfielder who wonโt take any prisoners. In the league this season he has committed 23 fouls and seen five yellow cards. He could easily take things to far and get booked again here.
Finally add Tijjani Reijnders to score or assist anytime. The Dutch midfielder has scored five in his last nine games and has found some good form after a slow start to the season.
