Charlie heads to Ayr on Monday for his best bet
It's a busy day of racing action in the UK and Ireland, and Charlie McCann is here with his exclusive free horse racing tips - only at FreeBets.
3:15pm Ayr - Obito (Each-Way) (Nap)
There was 1.5mm of rain at Ayr on Saturday, and it was raining again on Sunday morning. It is likely to be dry on Monday, but the ground will likely remain a mix of good and good to soft.
Star Cast did us a favour at Newcastle at the beginning of May from an 18lbs lower mark, given she has won three of her five subsequent starts, including a course and distance demolition last time from a 5lbs lower mark – could be construed as seven as Jake Dickson's claim has dropped from seven to five in the interim period.
The filly will relish the cut in the ground, and her rise through the ranks has showcased the training talents of the outstanding Gemma Tutty. Well drawn in stall six, the four-year-old remains the one to beat.
OBITO (Each-Way) (Nap) won over course and distance on good ground from a 4lbs lower mark as a three-year-old twelve months ago and ran a better race than his finishing position would suggest when fifth beaten 8l behind Star Cast over course and distance last time.
David O'Meara's gelding is 8lbs better off with the winner today, but if you look back at the start of the race, David Nolan unsuccessfully tries to anticipate the start, and the four-year-old is going back as the gates open. He ends up at the back of the field and, in the circumstances, runs well, although I admit he didn't exactly scream out a winner in waiting.
David Nolan – who has been in the saddle for the selection's two career successes – is replaced by Danny Tudhope, who has finished second on the gelding no less than five times previously. Tudhope rode a winner for the yard at Haydock on Saturday, but he owes us one as he somehow contrived to get beaten on Saxophonist when he met trouble in running for much of the home straight in a five-runner race.

4:15pm Ayr - Recobella
The mare RECOBELLA was given a peach of a ride to score over course and distance last time under Billy Loughnane, and she is taken to defy a 3lbs rise for Phil Kirby.
The five-year-old has never won from a mark as high as fifty-six, but one could argue that she races at the same mark as last time, given that Jack Nicholls takes off a valuable 3lbs. Well drawn in stall two, the hope is that she gets a ground-saving run around the turn into the home straight, although the runners have been coming down the centre of the track from the round course of late and, indeed, came to the stands' rail here on Saturday evening.

8:15pm Windsor - My Old Mate
Billy Loughnane takes over in the play on the Moores' trained MY OLD MATE, and the hope is that he can get to the front and make all with the prospect of a soft lead, given there is no other confirmed front-runner in the field.
The three-year-old made all from a 5lbs lower mark over course and distance last time, although he was claimer ridden and, arguably, is 12lbs higher, but he looked one to follow – albeit at a low grade – here last time, although he did miss another engagement here last month when he was reported to be off his feed.
The second behind the selection here in June has subsequently gone one better and is now rated 7lbs higher in the handicap, which gives the form some substance. The Moore yard did us a big favour at Haydock on Friday, and I will be disappointed if this inmate does not run a big race, although there is the slight concern of having missed the race here last month.
