It's a busy day of racing action in the UK and Ireland, and Charlie McCann is here with his exclusive free horse racing tips - only at FreeBets.
3:30pm Lingfield - Le Rouge Chinois (Nap)
The mare Belle Of Kt is in the form of her life and bolted up here on Saturday by 7l over 1m 5f. That was her fourth successive win, and she will be raised more in the handicap tomorrow than the 5lbs penalty she carries this afternoon.
This will be her third start in five days, however, and she has yet to race over two miles. She gives the impression she will get the additional distance – has won over 1m6f on turf – but she is edging up the weights, and this is a stronger race than the ones she has been farming in recent days.
Mick Appleby has not had the best of seasons, but he has won two big pots in recent days, including the Gt St Wilfrid at Ripon on Saturday. He saddles LE ROUGE CHINOIS (Nap) who has returned to the stable having won twice previously for the yard, including over course and distance from a stone higher mark – albeit back in January 2024.
The six-year-old won in France for Adam West but returned to Appleby ahead of his run at Yarmouth earlier in the month when runner-up over 1m6f. That was his first start in over 100 days, and he is entitled to come on for the run. The booking of Oisin Murphy suggests a big run is expected.

7:55pm Windsor - Trojan Truth
Risk Averse Rebel was chinned on the line at Chester last time and this 11-race maiden – still an entire – deserves to get his head in front. He can be keen, and this will be the first time he has raced right-handed, but he looks the one to beat with the classic generation receiving 8lbs weight-for-age from their elders.
Guinness Lad is only 3lbs higher than when scoring over course and distance at the beginning of June, and he compromised his chance with a slow start over 10f here last time. He will have his supporters as will Highland Harvey, but the vote goes to TROJAN TRUTH, a three-time course winner who bounced back to form when belying odds of 33/1 when beaten a short head at Ffos Las last time.
The seven-year-old is trained by Ed de Giles, who could certainly do with a winner, and the hope is that Oliver Lewis – who was in the plate in south Wales – can get his mount away somewhere near on terms, although he is invariably a slow starter.
There is no guaranteed pace in the race – which muddies the water - although I would expect to see Ray Dawson go forward on Highland Harvey, dropping back down in trip from 1m6f. He looks a real grinder and would not appreciate a tactical affair.
