It's a busy day of racing action in the UK and Ireland, and Charlie McCann is here with his exclusive free horse racing tips - only at FreeBets.
1:50pm Goodwood - Sing Us A Song (Each-Way)
James McDonald had to use plenty of petrol on SING US A SONG (Each-Way) to get near the lead at Ascot in the Copper Horse Stakes last time, but would still have finished ahead of Aeronautic – who reopposes on the same terms - had he not met with interference going into the final furlong at the Royal meeting.
Wathnan's retained jockey James Doyle takes over in the saddle this afternoon, and he gets the vote for Ralph Beckett, who was still seen shaking his head on Thursday afternoon in the aftermath of Tuesday's Goodwood Cup.
Valedictory did us a favour at Newmarket last time out and is only 3lbs higher in the weights, but Beylerbei would have won a minute with a clear run, and they finished in a bit of a heap.
Hopewell Rock – another Wathnan-owned representative – needs to settle better than was the case when heavily punted in the 12f Duke Of Edinburgh Stakes at the Royal meeting. Ryan Moore takes over in the saddle for the first time, but he has stamina to prove, and preference is for Sing Us A Song.

2:25pm Goodwood - Opportunity (Nap)
The evergreen nine-year-old Al Aasy is chasing a hat-trick in the Group 3 Glorious Stakes, and he is a worthy favourite, given he has looked almost as good as ever this term.
He carried a 3lbs penalty to victory twelve months ago, but no additional weight today, but the progressive OPPORTUNITY (Nap) did us a big favour at both Carlisle and Royal Ascot, and I cannot desert him, although he will need a career best to beat the Haggas-trained veteran.
Opportunity is still rated 4lbs lower than Al Aasy, having taken a 10lbs hike for his latest win, and the highest rated horse in the field is actually Ghostwriter, who ran disappointingly at the Royal meeting and needs a big run having been acquired for £2m last year.
I'm not convinced that he wants 12f for all his talent – never won beyond a mile – although he needs a big performance for both Amo Racing and jockey David Egan, with connections needing a high-profile winner at one of the major summer Festivals.
Recommendation: Opportunity (Nap) - 10/3 with bet365
3:00pm Goodwood - Waardah
WAARDAH aims to defend her Lillie Langtry Stakes crown for Owen Burrows, having run a terrific race over an inadequate 11f behind subsequent Group1 winner Estrange at Carlisle in the Group 3 Lester Piggott Stakes transferred from Haydock.
She received weight – 10lbs - from her elders twelve months ago and only had three-quarters of a length in hand of Danielle last year, but she looks to have been laid out for the race, and that Carlisle success showed that she handles fast ground.
Danielle easily landed the odds in a moderate Bronte Cup at York on her reappearance, and it should be noted that she was making her seasonal debut when second in the corresponding race in 2025. She is considered the chief threat, with William Buick taking over for the first time.
Consent is a personal favourite, but her best form is with plenty of cut, although she escapes a penalty for winning the Group 1 Prix Royallieu at Longchamp on Arc weekend back in the autumn. She is one to keep onside if the rain ever arrives.

1:33pm Newmarket - Romantic Symphony
The Charlie Appleby-trained three-year-old ROMANTIC SYMPHONY is bred to be smart, given she is a sister to a pair of Group 1 winners, although she has been a shade disappointing in both starts this turf season.
She made a winning racecourse debut over the Rowley Mile back in September and followed up in a Kempton Novice back in April.
She failed to fire in the Lingfield Oaks trial the following month but showed a bit more sparkle when runner-up in a similar listed event at Longchamp back in June, beaten half a length.
Billy Loughnane boasts an unbeaten record (two from two) on the filly and returns to the saddle this afternoon. The classic generation receive 10lbs weight for age from their elders and that might prove decisive.
I don't like the idea of kicking a man when he is down, but I thought Hector Crouch gave Revoir a poor ride when a never-nearer fifth over course and distance last time, and expect her to be ridden more prominently in her first time visor. I expect her to reverse form with Orionis.
Cieren Fallon rides Orionis, and I have been impressed by his strength in the saddle in recent weeks. A top job awaits sooner rather than later.
