Charlie McCann's Horse Racing Tips Sunday, 2 August - Chester & Yarmouth
Charlie heads to Yarmouth on Sunday for his best bet

It's a busy day of racing action in the UK and Ireland, and Charlie McCann is here with his exclusive free horse racing tips - only at FreeBets.
2:10pm Chester - Timber Twelve
Patagonia Girl is a dual course winner who made all over today's trip at the feature May meeting from a 2lbs lower mark.
She has struggled over the extended 10f here in recent starts, but is more than fairly treated, and a check of the market is advised.
TIMBER TWELVE has won three of his five races - unbeaten on the AW- but was allowed to go off 28/1 when making all on his first attempt at 12f last time. He has been raised 6lbs for that facile success, and won't get a soft lead, but he is open to further improvement at the trip and can follow up.
His draw in stall one is a positive, although he will get pace pressure, which wasn't the case at Epsom.
Ross Coakley keeps the ride for Michael Bell. The 10lb weight-for-age that the classic generation receive at this time of the season is generous.
Recommendation: Timber Twelve - 9/4 with bet365
4:38pm Yarmouth - The Ubermensch (Nap)
I hope it's a good day for Newmarket handler Michael Bell, as I am sweet on the chance of his THE UBERMENSCH (Nap) in the ten-furlong handicap at Yarmouth.
I backed the selection at Newcastle on his penultimate start when he met trouble in running, but finished best of all when second over today's trip.
He went one better over a longer trip here last time from a 2lbs lower mark in an apprentice' hands and heels' race when he raced more prominently. Billy Loughnane takes over in the saddle, which is an obvious plus with him and Oisin Murphy fighting out the jockey's title.
Loughnane rode the Ian Williams-trained Nuptown Girl here earlier in the week to finish runner-up. One would imagine he had the choice of mounts this afternoon.
Recommendation: The Ubermensch (Nap) - Evens with bet365
4:52pm Chester - Tiger
TIGER has been withdrawn on account of the fast ground twice since finishing second at Doncaster from a 2lbs lower mark back in June.
He travelled like a well-treated horse in South Yorkshire over the mile-and-a-half, and the drop back to today's extended ten furlongs is of no concern. He has yet to win on turf, but they water extensively at Chester, and the hope is that there is enough give for Ian Williams to allow his French import to take his chance.
I will be monitoring times in the early races and listening to jockey feedback post-race. Edward Greatrex takes over in the plate for the first time, and Williams saddles a couple with David Probert riding Echalar.
The market will be headed by Andrew Balding's Cape Fear, who was backed off the boards at Newmarket last month on handicap debut over 12f. He was a bit keen and is another for whom the drop back in distance will suit.
Oisin Murphy takes the ride, and I imagine he will go off at a very short price with Balding's record on the Roodeye and the champion jockey in the plate.
Recommendation: Tiger - 7/2 with bet365
