Charlie McCann’s Horse Racing Tips For Sunday, 28 June - Uttoxeter, Curragh & Cartmel
Charlie heads to the Curragh on Sunday for his best bet

It's a busy day of racing action in the UK and Ireland, and Charlie McCann is here with his exclusive free horse racing tips - only at FreeBets.
2:17pm Uttoxeter - Way Maker
A competitive card for Summer Plate Day and hat-trick seeking Flying Ace is likely to be all the rage for Gordon Elliot with Harry Skelton getting a rare ride for the yard in the absence of Sean Bowen, who rides at Cartmel.
He carries 10lbs worth of penalties, however, and preference is for the dual Bumper winner WAY MAKER, who has been let down by his hurdling in both starts over obstacles to date but has shaped with considerable promise.
James Bowen keeps the ride on the selection for his brother, Mickey, and is owned in partnership with Harry Redknapp. He needs to jump better than at Perth or Southwell, but the hope is that his jumping improves with experience.
Recommendation: Way Maker
3:20pm Curragh - Purview (Nap)
PURVIEW (Nap) would not want the ground to ease beyond good in the Group 3 International Stakes, but he looked one to follow when scoring over 12f in listed company first time out this term.
He drops back to ten furlongs this afternoon, but he looked a potential Group 1 performer to my eyes on his reappearance, and I would be disappointed- with the caveat of the ground - if he doesn't take care of this good quality but largely exposed opposition.
British raider Crown Of Oaks has not been seen since landing the Balmoral Handicap on Champion's Day over a mile back in the autumn. If he gets an uncontested lead, he could prove hard to peg back, and he would not be inconvenienced if the rain arrived on Saturday and overnight.
That said, I want to support Purview until he takes on the superstars of the older middle-distance division further down the line.
Recommendation: Purview (Nap) - 5/4 with William Hill
3:37pm Cartmel - High Court Cave (Each-Way)
Goodwin Face carries a 7lbs penalty for fitting up here on Friday, and he will be tough to beat for Chris Gordon, who has booked Harry Cobden in search of his hat-trick, having scored previously at Plumpton last month.
This is a much stronger race though, and the Irish raider HIGH COURT CAVE (Each-Way), despite being 5lbs higher in Britain than at home, can defy the rise for Noel Kelly in the 2m1f handicap hurdle, although this trip is, arguably, on the sharp side.
The selection finished second on handicap debut at the Galway Festival back in July over 2m6f but went one better when landing a Maiden hurdle at Downpatrick in September over only slightly further than today's trip.
He has been well supported in his two starts since returning from a break - both over the minimum trip - which suggests connections feel he remains feasibly treated. He gets the each-way vote.
Recommendation: High Court Cave (Each-Way)
