Cheltenham Festival 2026 Day 4 Preview

The fourth and final day of the Cheltenham Festival is all about the Gold Cup, which goes off at 4:00pm.

A wide open field, perhaps the most open this race has been in a long time, there's plenty to fancy, and conditions could play a big part, so check the weather forecast and going report before you're placing a wager.

Elsewhere, the opening race is the Triumph Hurdle, with 20 runners going to post and another wide open field to try and dissect.

The Mares' Chase and Albert Bartlett are the other graded races on the day, and the Albert Bartlett especially looks to be a real minefield to try and solve this year.

We've got the County Hurdle, Hunters Chase and then the traditional closer, the Martin Pipe, closing out the fourth day, and bringing an end to the festival as a whole.
