Losses to Nottingham Forest, Sunderland, Fulham and Crystal Palace doesn’t fill anyone with confidence. However, they have scored in four of their five away games.
Expect Brighton to get the job done but not have everything their own way.
Tip 2: Igor Thiago to score anytime
It’s hard to get away from Igor Thiago to score given his record since the start of the season. The Brazilian has scored eight times in the eleven games that Brentford have played in, and he is still a decent price.
He has scored four goals in the last four games including a brace against Newcastle just before the international break. He has also scored three times this season away from home so playing away from home isn’t an issue.
Brentford can cause Brighton problems in this game and if anyone is likely to get a goal for them it will be Thiago.
Tip 3: Kevin Schade 1+ shot on target, Carlos Beleba to be shown a card, Igor Thiago to score anytime
Kevin Schade has had a great season for Brentford so far and it shouldn’t stop now. The German attacking midfielder has had 18 shots this season with seven of them hitting the target. Only Igor Thiago has had more shots and shots on target than him.
Carlos Beleba loves to get involved in a midfield battle and its likely he will again here. The defensive midfielder from Cameroon has committed 16 fouls this season and been booked four times. Expect another battling performance from him in this game.
