Leeds vs Liverpool Tips, Predictions & Bet Builder

After a thrilling round of midweek Premier League action, Leeds and Liverpool face off at Elland Road on Saturday evening.
Liverpool produced a stuttering performance in their previous outing against Sunderland before escaping with a 1-1 draw, while Leeds put Chelsea to the sword in an emphatic 3-1 victory.
Iโve scoured the markets and picked out three enticing football tips to mull over ahead of kick-off.
Leeds vs Liverpool Tips
Here are our three tipsย for the game at Elland Road.
Tip 1: Leeds to win
After a dismal run of four defeats on the spin, Leeds produced their standout performance of the campaign by seeing off Chelsea.
It was a crucial victory and one that moved Daniel Farkeโs charges out of the relegation zone. There have been promising signs from Leeds over the past few weeks, even though they havenโt always been rewarded.
Against the Blues, Leeds were lively and hounded their opponents into sloppy mistakes. They will need to reproduce that tempo against Liverpool, who turned in an error-strewn display against Sunderland.
While this fixture is heavily tilted in Liverpoolโs favour, with three wins from their past four Premier League contests, you just donโt know what you are going to get from the Reds these days.
Liverpoolโs inconsistency aside, I was encouraged by Leedsโ victory over Chelsea. Iโm therefore going for Leeds to clinch another priceless three points.
Tip 2: Leeds to pick up 1 yellow card
A glance at the stats shows Leeds have been quite disciplined this term. So far, theyโve picked up just 23 yellow cards across their 14 matches.
In their previous outings against Chelsea and Manchester City, Leeds went into the book just once across the 90 minutes.
More pertinently, there have been a total of just two yellow cards brandished during matches between Leeds and Liverpool, suggesting it could be a clean game.
I donโt think this will be a feisty contest, and Leeds to pick up just one caution is calling out to me.
Tip 3: Both teams to score, Leeds to win by 1 goal, Lukas Nmecha to score first
Clashes between Leeds and Liverpool have been entertaining, with the Over 2.5 goals line hit in the past four league showdowns. There hasnโt been a goalless game since 1999 at Elland Road, so BTTS is worth exploring.
When Leeds last beat Liverpool in 2022, they prevailed 2-1 in a tight game. This could also be a compelling watch, and following on from my earlier tip, Leeds to win by a solitary goal appeals.
For the last leg of my bet builder, Lukas Nmecha could be a thorn in the Liverpool side. He was a menace against Chelsea and he combined well with Dominic Calvert-Lewin. Nmecha has struck four times in the league this term, and he could open the scoring.
