Kai Watson's Scottish Football Tips
Kai is back with his latest free Scottish football tips ahead of another action-packed weekend north of the border โ and this time, he's lined up a 16/1 acca for fans to sink their teeth into.
Dunfermline Athletic vs Raith Rovers - Over 1.5 Goals
Dunfermline had started the season relatively well and looked set to kick on after hammering surprise package Arbroath 5-0 away from home. Since then though they lost three in a row and then drew last weekend against Queenโs Park. They have a good squad and were impressive in their narrow defeat against St. Johnstone at McDiarmid Park but itโs just not clicking so far for Neil Lennonโs side.
Raith had also started the season well and looked a bit more consistent until the last two games which they lost 2-0 to Ross County and Ayr United respectively. Both sides will be looking to get back to winning ways in what could turn out to be a feisty game with it being the Fife derby but itโs another match in which I donโt see either side being able to stop the other from scoring.
Motherwell vs Falkirk - Motherwell to Win
Iโve said it many times on this website already but Iโve been so impressed by Motherwell under Jens Berthel Askou. They finally got their first victory of the season against Aberdeen at Fir Park at the end of September after scoring not one, but two injury time goals.
They followed up that win with an impressive display at Celtic Park before the international break. Motherwell went to the champions with no fear and continued to play the exact same way theyโve been playing so far this season, a very bold strategy. However, that style was their undoing after some really careless play in their own box led to the ball falling to Benjamin Nygren who smashed it into the roof of the net to make it 2-2.
They then lost an injury time goal to last season's top scorer Daizen Maeda which completed a heartbreaking collapse for the โWell but it was a performance that showed what theyโre capable of. Falkirk are capable of playing some nice stuff themselves, which I think will make it easier for Motherwell to play their style and make plenty of chances.
Perhaps surprisingly, Motherwell have scored as many as Celtic this season with Falkirk conceding the joint second most goals so far. John McGlynnโs side may get a goal but I doubt theyโll be able to keep the home side out and I fancy a relatively routine win for the Steelmen.
Iโll also be in attendance for this one!
Rangers vs Dundee United - Over 2.5 Goals
As of Wednesday evening, we still have no idea who will be in charge of Rangers at Ibrox on Saturday. One thing that is for sure though is that Rangers season has been an absolute mess so far and they currently sit 8th in the table with a -1 goal difference.
Four places separate the sides but thereโs only one point in it with the home side currently having won one, lost one and drawn five whilst Jim Goodwinโs side have won two, lost two and drawn three. So far this season Rangers have been disorganised defensively with no creativity or threat going forward, a horrible combination.
The last two meetings between the sides have ended 3-1 Rangers and thatโs a result which home fans would snap your hand off for right now. Both sides have struggled to keep goals out but Dundee United havenโt struggled scoring this season with Ivan Dolcek currently the top scorer in the league.
Rangers need to start looking more dangerous in attack and this could be the perfect game for it, particularly with a new manager (probably Kevin Muscat) set to arrive in the near future. I would be VERY surprised if this game wasnโt full of goals.
Partick Thistle vs Ross County - Both teams to score
Considering the money that was spent by Ross County this summer theyโve had a disastrous start to the season and Tony Docherty will really want to continue turning it around after an impressive win against Raith then drawing 0-0 with league leaders St. Johnstone last week.
Partick, under Mark Wilson, are perhaps the surprise package in the Scottish Championship so far this season. The Jags currently sit in second place, with a game hand, and have only lost once in nine games so far this season. Theyโre actually unbeaten since the first game of the season when they were hammered 5-1 by St. Johnstone, so they are currently unbeaten in eight. Winning their game in hand could take them just three points behind Simo Valakariโs St. Johnstone but draws in the last two may have dented their confidence.
Ronan Hale has started to find the form that many expected of him from the beginning of the season and he will be key to County getting anything from this game. I think Tony Dochertyโs side may have turned the corner and predict this to be a tight affair but donโt think either side will be able to keep the other out completely.
Montrose vs Hamilton - Hamilton to win
Hamilton have had two excellent results recently in the league, beating both Stenhousemuir and Inverness to take themselves to the top of the Scottish League One table. Theyโve scored more than anyone else and have the second best defensive record in the league.
Hamilton also havenโt been beaten in the league since losing 1-0 to Alloa on the 23rd of August. Montrose started the season really poorly but have won three out of the last five which has helped them climb up to eight in the table. Their defeat last time out against Stenhousemuir was also their first defeat since the 23rd of August.
Despite that decent run of form I just canโt see them getting anything against Hamilton, even with the game being at Links Park. Hamilton were one of the favourites for the league and theyโre now playing like title contenders after getting two big results against their fellow challengers, can they keep the run going?
I definitely donโt think it will end on Saturday.

Scottish Football Tips - Weekly Predictions from Freebets
Scottish football is a world full of tradition and surprises, making it an excellent focus for fans and anyone interested in betting.
Whether you follow big clubs like Celtic and Rangers as fans or are new to the Scottish leagues, having some helpful betting tips can make things more enjoyable and interesting. We may even improve your betting choices from time to time!
SPFL Betting Tips
Start by getting to know the basics. The Scottish Premiership, the top league, is often led by Celtic and Rangers. Usually too strong for the rest, but other clubs like Hearts, Hibernian, and others can pull off unexpected wins, shocking the big two.
One point to remember is that the Scottish weather can quietly affect games a little more than in other parts of the UK, though players are generally used to it. Scotland is cold, wet, and windy, sometimes even in summer, and this can all change how matches play out.
Like any other football league, how a team has been playing recently is very important.
In Scotland's smaller league system, teams face each other a little more often, so recent results, both in terms of last fixtures and previous head-to-head meetings, can tell you a lot. With this, you need to stay as up to date as the best betting sites with the latest information and recent records.
Finally, don't forget to check for things like injuries or changes in the lineup. A missing key player or someone coming back can make a big difference in any football league. As you move down the footballing pyramid, injuries can often take their toll more than at the top, with smaller squads and replacements of a lower quality the norm for many.
Scottish Lower League Betting Tips
Don't forget the lower leagues when you are looking at betting on Scottish football.
The Championship, League One, and League Two have smaller teams involved that might not get much attention. Still, these leagues can offer good opportunities for punters, especially if you become an expert in one particular league.
Alongside the league action, there are regular cup games, which add a new layer to Scottish football betting.
This can also be a minefield, though, as per other European leagues, changed teams, resting key players and how seriously these competitions are being taken by some are all additional questions that should be in your thought process before placing your bets.
