Cheltenham Video - Champagne Platinum Could Go Well in Pertemps Network Final Says Ed

Ed is sticking with Nicky Henderson in the Pertemps Final

Pertemps Network Final (1.55pm, Thursday)

The Pertemps Network is a very difficult puzzle to solve and Ed thinks this race could be a “bookies benefit time”

Ed Quigley is still in the Nicky Henderson camp, and fancies the lightly-raced Champagne Platinum (each way) to run a big race at 8/1 with Betfair Sportsbook who are offering 6-places.

Ed said “Champagne Platinum ran a really eye-catching race to finish second at Haydock to qualify for this contest. Off a mark of 139, I still think there is plenty of mileage in that handicap mark.”

Ed went on to say “Let’s not forget, this horse going back two or three years ago was single figures to win the Supreme Novices before he got injured.”

This is a furiously competitive handicap are there are lots of horses with chances here. Ed thinks that Keeper Hill (40/1 Betfair Sportsbook) could also run well here with the drying ground in his favour.
