Bournemouth v Chelsea Match Preview
I’m not surprised that Chelsea are favourites with football betting sites to win this game, but they’re a side that many people still don’t trust, even though we’ve now moved into a new season.
They’re in 11th position before the weekend, one win, one loss and one draw from their three games so far. The loss came against Manchester City, followed by a wild win over Wolves, although their home draw with Crystal Palace, their most recent game, was a disappointing way to go into the international break.
There’s talent in this team, but often plenty of issues to solve, Raheem Sterling has left, which could ease the camp a little, but they’ve still got a lot of players, all vying for minutes.
Unbeaten in the league, and just above Chelsea, are Bournemouth. Two draws to start their season, away at Nottingham Forest in their opener before a good 1-1 home draw with Newcastle.
In their final game before the break, they got three points on the board with a 3-2 away win at Everton, a game they were remarkably losing 2-0 with 86 minutes gone.
That will have no doubt been a great lift to confidence, and they need to use that, even though we’ve had an international break since.
