Bradford v Newport Match Report
Bradford City secured a much-needed 3-1 victory over Newport County, halting their winless run in League Two. The Bantams, who had struggled in recent matches, produced a commanding performance at Valley Parade to get back on track.
Newport County, meanwhile, were unable to capitalise on their recent momentum and missed the chance to climb into the top seven.
The hosts opened the scoring just before halftime through Andy Cook, who converted from close range following an assist by Jacob Benn.
Although Newport responded in the second half with Kyle Hudlin equalising in the 65th minute, Bradford regained the lead through Jamie Walker, and Brad Pointon added a third to seal the victory.
