Bristol City v Cardiff Preview
You can often throw the form book out of the window in a derby game, and Cardiff City will certainly be hoping that is the case here.
They begin the weekend rock bottom of the Championship, without a manager, and with just one win and four points from their opening eight games.
Anybody who's seen them play will be able to tell you the problem they have, and that's goalscoring. Just three goals from eight games is only going to take them towards relegation this season, nowhere else.
The positive? They won on Tuesday night, a 1-0 success at home to Millwall, perhaps the managerial change that's coming soon will be able to breathe new life into them.
Mid table Bristol City are going along nicely, though results such as their 0-0 home draw with Sheffield Wednesday on Wednesday night show why I and many others believe they're not quite good enough to break into the top half of the table.
But they arrive here unbeaten in three now, a win over Oxford followed by draws away at Swansea and at home to Wednesday.
I do also think goalscoring is holding them back, like it is Cardiff, although better, Bristol City have just nine goals from their opening eight games.
Pick that up, and the top half of the table could be within reach.
It promises to be an exciting game on Sunday, plenty of intrigue, and of course, local bragging rights at stake.
