Harlem Eubank believes Jack Catterall test is a chance to prove he is world class

Jack Catterall will look to get his world title hopes back on track this weekend when he takes on Harlem Eubank.
'El Gato' is looking to bounce back after a shock defeat to Arnold Barboza Jr in February, and he's the odds-on favourite with the best betting sites to win on Saturday.

It's a busy time in the Eubank family.
Sandwiched in between two Chris Eubank Jr. vs Conor Benn clashes, Chris' cousin, Harlem, makes his own journey in the welterweight division, attempting to move through the domestic ranks at 147.
The 31-year-old is unbeaten in 21 outings and has decided that now is the time to strike in terms of increasing the level of opposition he's gone in with — Jack Catterall is the man in the opposite corner this weekend in Manchester, as Eubank travels north to play the away fighter.
"Jack [Catterall] is the perfect opponent for me," he stated to Freebets.com. "This gives the public what they want in the form of a domestic headliner, but it also gives me the opportunity to come up against someone at world level. Jack is that guy.
If I want to be the best then I am going to have to beat the best, and he’s proven the level he is at — in my opinion, he should be an undisputed world champion.
Jack Catterall's two career losses have come at the hands of Josh Taylor and Arnold Barboza Jr — the former, a highly contested split decision loss to the Scot in a fight that Catterall largely dominated.
"He’s at his very peak right now, so I am going to have to be at mine. He came up very close against Barboza, but real champions come back stronger in defeat and that’s what I’m expecting from him in Manchester.
He’s going to return looking to prove a point, as he should, and we want to be fighting the best version of him which we believe we will be.
The public have been starved of these kinds of fights recently — perhaps Chris [Eubank Jr] vs. Conor [Benn] was an outlier — so it’s good that Jack and I can put on a show.”
Saturday's fight is titled "The Warrior's Code" — a notion synonymous with the Eubank family and originating from Harlem's uncle, Chris Eubank Sr.
"The Warrior’s Code is a way of life," Harlem explained. "It’s a dedication to living a life of boxing — not just in training camps.
It’s not cheating, no cutting corners and living by that code in order to become proficient in your art form - in this instance, boxing, and putting me in a position to eventually become world champion.
“Jack is in my way — that’s how I am seeing this fight. I feel like the public knows how good he is, but they don’t quite realise how good I am yet. This fight isn’t about Jack, it’s about me. And I’ll prove that.”
