Harry Kane Odds: 13/2 Favourite for Golden Boot Euro 2024

There’s been a lot of talk about England’s performance last night, but one positive in it was that Harry Kane found the back of the net.
If England are to succeed this summer, then they need goals from Kane, it’s as simple as that. His goal, and the broken nose of Kylian Mbappe, have seen the top two in the betting flip flop, so the Harry Kane odds for the Golden Boot show he is favourite to win it with Euro 2024 betting sites.
Harry Kane Odds: Golden Boot Euro 2024
Priced at 13/2, his odds have actually grown since the start of the tournament, despite his goal, showing just what a wide open market this really is.
Kane began the tournament as the 11/2 second favourite, with Mbappe the 9/2 favourite, he is now 9/1, which is no surprise considering he’ll be playing in a mask for the rest of the tournament, and we’ve no idea how that will impact him.
There’s been a lot of criticism around how Kane has played so far, and I think some of that is warranted. But at the same time, you know what you’re getting from Kane, you sacrifice the work and press, because you know he’s a man to be in the right position at the right time in the box.
That was on display when he scored against Denmark, he was waiting in the box, the ball found its way to him and he buried it in the corner of the net.
With England under a little pressure due to performances, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Kane come under more fire, but he will keep starting, has a great record, and takes penalties, so that’s unlikely to detract too much away from his Golden Boot odds at Euro 2024.
More Golden Boot Odds
Third favourite is Germany player Jamal Musiala, and he’s the one that leads the tournament in goals, the only player to hit double figures so far at the tournament.
He’s looked strong in a Germany team that does look capable of scoring plenty. Given they’ve been elevated in the betting to join favourites to win the tournament, the bookmakers are also expecting a long run for them, which should mean plenty of minutes on the pitch for Musiala.
Jude Bellingham is the last player to mention, the other English scorer so far. He’s available at odds of 14/1 to win the Golden Boot, though his fit in the England starting X1 is unknown.

There’s been a lot of talk about Bellingham dropping back to play a deeper role in the side, if he does that, then he can still influence games, but perhaps won’t find himself with as many scoring opportunities.
Which would bring us back round to Harry Kane, favourite for the title, being England’s best hope of a Golden Boot winner at Euro 2024.
